  • Well seeing as how there are a huge number of things to consider moral and amoral I will classify myself mostly via traditional views of morality-

I find that I agree the most with Rights Theory- we have the right to Freedom, Liberty and Property (there are a few others but those are the main three), and we also have the right for those rights not to be interfered with. And Utilitarianism- we must do what is best for the most number of people, or we must perform actions which will create the most utility. The classic example being if you're driving a car and the breaks fail and you can either steer and hit one person or hit three people, you should choose to hit one person. However if those three people are serial killers, or that one person has more value to society than the other three combined, you should hit the three people. Then again, Utilitarianism often believes you shouldn't kill at all. As for what individual act I find moral and immoral? I mean... there are a lot. A potential infinite number if you think about it the right way. If you want to know about anything in particular just ask.

    • Interesting answer.Thanks for sharing.

  • Sexual immoral acts would be any that are against someone's will, someone unable to give proper consent ( underage, developmentally delayed, unconscious for example) and any that hurt a person emotionally.

As to the wide range of other examples, I suppose it is best summed up in willfully hurting an innocent person. This is a complex question that is difficult to summarize in few words.

  • Cheating. Anything sexual that isn't consensual.

    Stealing? I suppose?

Anything that harms another living thing. But if I had the chance to kill a pedo file or rapist I would without a second thought. So I'm not sure.

Morality is extremely subjective. Nothing is inherently bad or good really.

    • How about murdering a child?

    • I said harming the innocent wasn't okay. Kids are innocent. Criminals were the exception to that.

  • Awfully broad question.

Basically I do my best to conform to the law giving of Moses and the teachings of Christ. This is not an easy task. I'll never measure up and pray I will make the cut. By the way, the Buddha, Dali Lama and "Confucius" have good things to say as well.

#1 I work on Sunday. I do not really have an ox in the ditch.

#8,754 I have willfully committed adultery. I was young and hot but that's no excuse. I sewed and eventually reaped on that one, because I cuckolded early on and had it done to me later.

#23,678 I have divorces. One was my doing without clear Biblical grounds.

The Bible, however, remains my moral user manual and I have learned that if I stick closer to its teachings, things go better even if recreational opportunities are reduced.

Out here where you can see me. Public confession is good for the soul.

I will take the down votes for you.

    • I don't understand what you mean about working on Sunday?

    • Old Testament Jews were prohibited from working on their Sabbath (which was Saturday) unless there was an emergency. I work on Sunday even though it is not an emergency, hence there is no ox in the ditch (to pull out). Thanks for asking.

    • Upvoted. Why would things be different today though? Surely those Old Testament principles still apply? My parents are 'Christian', not at all Jewish but they keep the Sabbath (Friday - Saturday). Why do people consider it Sunday?

  • Playing with somebody without love or real good feelings - violating social and religious rules is immoral. If it is about sex or money or any other things - socially not accepted things are immoral at that particular time. It may change with time and circumstances.

  • Many things are immoral. Nothing is inherently moral though. A good action is not necessarily good. It just is.

  • 1. Cheating for gain - even if it's cheating nature for human benefit

    2. Taking something by force / deceit what that doesn't belong to you

    3. Hurting / harming someone innocent

    4. Oppression by any means for any reason

    5. etc

  • Believing wha the mainstream media tells you.

    Liking Don Trump or Oprah.

    Selling yourself

Not smiling back when someone gives you ann appreciative smile.

  • anything that hurts the innocent. murder, rape, discrimination, theft, assault. sexually I only think it's wrong if it hurts others-rape (including pedophilia, beastiality, sex with inoxicated folk, sex under pressure)

    • what if your both intoxicated? I think drunken sex (not too drunk but good buzz) is the best.

    • only if you agreed to have sex beforehand and are at the same level of intoxication. beer goggles are a no.

  • Cheating

  • anything that violates the rights of other people is immoral.

  • Dishonesty.

  • Animal abuse.

    Child abuse.

    Beastiality.

    Rape.

    Thievery.

    Murder.

  • People thinking it's okay to have sex with their pets or farm animals or their brothers/sisters/cousins.

  • Immoral is judging and/or shaming people for doing things that make them happy when it doesn't hurt you. Also abusing innocent people is immoral

  • I don't consider anything immoral or moral.

  • incest, and extramarital affairs

  • Things that harm another human being or infringes on their personal freedoms is immoral. Everything else is fair game.

  • Cheating. We aren't animals anymore so there's no excuse.

    • Technically we are animals, it's only humans own egos that they rate themselves above other species. You're right when it's not an excuse since everyone has urges and even animals know right from wrong.

    • I go with Jonny :) Any book of whichever level in Sociology starts with 'Man (and woman) is a social ANIMAL' :D

    • But we aren't animals ANYMORE, key word.

  • absolutely nothing

  • I thought about this and I think the one thing that is immoral (to me) is inflicting pain & suffering to something or someone who cannot defend themeless in any way, completely vulnerable (like children and animals) I think it takes a real evil person to know about the vulnerability of the person/thing, yet still continue to go ahead and hurt that person/thing.

  • Unfortunately, much of what we think of as "morality" is religious in origin. The only things that are immoral in my opinion are things that harm other people. With respect to sex, there is nothing immoral between consenting adults.

  • Cheating

Judging; everyone seems to do that at first glance nowadays, it's sad.

    Stereotypes

    2 faced bitches

    Rude people

That's all I can think of atm.
