I mean, this seems to be an issue in any entertainment industry in a predominantly white/white dominated country. we aren't as represented in any aspect of mainstream stuff. There are also few black actresses in bigger films, TV series, fewer black models, etc.
This is a predominantly white country, and also I think the racist standards of beauty and fantasy working against black women play in as well. If there's a racial bias in the people consuming p*rn, the demand for certain types of p*rn may not be as high as others. And that's probably one reason why they are paid less. The reception may be different. However, not always. Also, I think the whole "video vixen/video ho" route is more popular for black women into all that. And I think interracial for non-black women is WAY more in demand compared to interracial scenes with black women.
I think some of these black p*rn stars look really ratchet though. Same for other races too, but sometimes I'm embarrassed for her. Also, I think weave does not work in p*rn. If you look at the American demographics it makes sense. P*rn in general is a female centered "art" which caters primarily for men. Most men in the states are white and white guys seem to be the most into p*rn ( especially the fetishes ). White women will be the majority actresses just like white guys are the majority actors. Black females and black men are equally represented when it comes to stars in my opinion. I can name just about the same number of stars for each gender
