Difference between casual porn and addictive porn?

At what point do you consider a guy watching porn is "addictive" and no longer casual?

Dave is an idiot, don't listen to him. If it wasn't addictive, then families, marriages, and relationships wouldn't end over it. I think that if a guy looks at it every day or a cpl times a week it's addictive. They will never admit it of course, just like the people that say they can quit drinking or doing drugs whenever they want, but keep doing it.

Have to disagree Jarett. Many women can and do watch porn WITH their partners - marriages don't necessarily or even often break up cos of it so it can't be all that bad or addictive. Need to view this in context - unless it rules the guys life and he is turning down real sex or opportunities to be with people to view porn then likely it is just casual. LOTS of thing are multibillion dollar industries - like um the toy manufacturing industry - but we wouldn't say toys are addictive.

I have recently done a ton of research on this particular topic and have found some rather significant evidence which proves that watching p*rn causes your brain to react different through masturbation via p*rn vs actual sex-porn viewing is a progressive addiction and eventually you become desensitized to real human beings

Most guys view porn, many girls do too. 99% of the time it's just casual. Only rarely would it become a problem. As others have said.

Actually about half of the time or greater, it becomes a serious addiction. It is a progressive addiction

I am afraid that is just a myth. There is no such thing as an addiction to porn. An addiction requires chemical changes within the body. A person may like it very much, but addiction, no.

There are any facts to go by but I would say everyday or living your life around porn and not going out or missing out on plans/ appointments to stay home & watch porn
