Lead with passion.
To start, I just want to say that I am no leadership guru nor am I a big shot billionaire trying to sell you the idea on what I think a leader should be or look like but, these principles I am about to share with you are principles I know that not only works but it also open up a new way of seeing yourself as a leader and those around you.
A true leader knows that by investing into people, he or she creates a wellspring of wealth for him or herself…
I am not referring to money as wealth but I am referring to people; as a leader understands that people are his or her wealth.
A leader knows the value of people and therefore will always take time to grow those who he or she has been assigned to.
As you grow others and train other leaders you are raising the standard not only for those under you but you are making room to grow yourself.
A leader understands that Harmony + Unity = Success.
Strife and discord has never been apart of any of the top leadership in the past or the present but rather they fully understand the principle of unity and harmony.
A band that plays out of sync will never become famous or even achieve stardom but rather be the joke on YouTube.
I can name many amazing bands out there that understands this principle and therefore are like a well oiled machine perfectly in-sync.
That is the same with a true leader who understands that when he or she is in perfect harmony with his or her people it will create the perfect atmosphere for unity which will result in success.
A Leader speaks only positive words to create positive outcomes.
A leader understands that words create and form the world around them.
We heard the saying “stick and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me” and how false that statement are. Our word can either break those around you or it may even build up. A leader knows that his words should always be uplifting to create a safe atmosphere for growth.
A leader understands that it takes a person of strong character to repent of his mistakes, but it takes a person who is mature in character to forgive those who repent.
A leader never loses hope in his or her dreams.
Never stop believing in yourself and never lose hope in your dreams.
You were created to be a success to be the leader that will be the agent of change.
Let us be leaders that lead with passion and grow not only ourselves but those around us.
