Scenes from the storm: The Carolinas flooded!

As you may or may not have heard, a powerful hurricane has been hitting the East Coast of the United States. Two of the states that have been majorly impacted are my home state of North Carolina and the neighboring state where my family lives close to the beach in South Carolina. South Carolina has seen the most rainfal in American History in the last 1,000 years. I would now like to show you some pictures from the news of the historic flooding.

I'm showing these images to show how nature and severe weather can be dangerous.

If you are ever in a storm like this: Please do not go out in it if you do not need to, Go to a shelter if needed, and stay off the roadways.

As you can see, Homes destroyed, Roads flooded and washed out, Cemetaries flooded, cars washed away. The part of North Carolina where I live was lucky. We got some rain, wind, and minor flooding, but nothing like this.

Please keep the people of these two states in your thoughts, prayers, good vibes. They really need it right now.
