Many know I love food and I have a huge list of things I wanna try, I'll share with you guys the most common ones (I've tried some already) :D

10. Irish coffee

I bet many of you already had this but I sadly I haven't tried. In the place where I worked they do these and they kick ass. I always enjoyed to see how they do it.

9. Lobster

Many have tried this already, but I haven't lol my parents have ate it and I'm never with them when they do! It's so unfair. Hopefully I try soon. The say it tastes like shrimp, oh well, gotta judge myself, right?

8. Dragon fruit

It is delicious!!! Sweet and perfect, you gotta give it a try.

7. Wasabi

I tried this and holy fuck, it's super spicy but it's worth it, it leaves a weird feeling in your tongue...
Be careful though, it's gonna hurt like hell if you take a big amount.

6. Alive octopus

Okay, this is weird but it's common in Korea, I read somewhere it is how guys show how manly they are XD they're just nuts... but I am too, that's why I'll try this before I die.

5. Vodquila

Dude, this is revolutionary, this is the new shit in drinks XD I gotta try this, probably I would be drunk after one shot but I wanna try. Can you imagine how crazy the taste of it would be? It is the number one in my list lol

4. Chapulines

It gets weirder huh? They're like some kind of crickets lol I don't even know what those things are, even tho they're pretty common in mexico, I had the chance to eat them around 5 months ago but it grossed me out XD but I gotta try.

3. Snail

I don't know how weird it is for you but in Mexico is not common. I gotta try that, I worked in a french restaurant and they had those... I always wondered how it was. Hopefully I'll get a free dish if the boss feels kind :D lol

2. Caviar

Because we all need some fancy shit before we die, right? lol

1. Alligator or snake

I still don't know which one, maybe both, because why not? :D we all need some crazy shit.

You do NOT have to try eating animals that are not food! Or eating live animals! I consider myself an adventurous water, but I refuse to take part in animals cruelty (by eating live things) or endangering certain animals species (by eating animals that are caught from the wild and not bred in farms). I don't need to eat an alligator or crocodile or shark fin. Fancy as that might be. Gators might not be endangered yet, but if every Person thinks like you, it will be in the brink of extinctiin pretty soon. See what happened to sharks? Their numbers depleted because some idiots decided shark find are delicious. Fucking retards. Fucking humans.

You can eat all the grasshoppers and crickets you want, because there will still be enough of them. But gators, sharks, and other "exotic" animals like kangaroos... Pls stay away from eating them because then you're condoning and supporting their numbers going down. It's basically like you wanting some think Horn or elephant tusks on your living room. If there's demand, someone is gonna kill them.

Horse meat, kangaroo meat, bear claws and some really strange meat.

Truffles! Yes, those exceedingly expensive truffles that will make cocaine look cheap pound by pound. You have to eat some before you die.

I can tell you this, the snail don't really taste that good but it is quite distinctive compare pretty much anything else. It is soft and buttery with a very distinctive flavor. Try the French cuisine with the snail.

Dragon fruit is probably the best fruit to eat on a hot day. It's juicy but not full of water like the water melons. Enough to fill your belly but not too much to get tired of eating it.

Snake tastes a lot like eel. Snake blood goes well with alcohol if warm and tastes a little sweet.

Alligator, not too sure, can't remember the taste.

8) In my country they are called Pitayas and have tried both the red and yellow Dragon Fruit. They are sweet and delicious.

7) I have tried Wasabi sauce before. It was good. Though if given too much, it gives me allergies.

I've tried lobster (delicious), wasabi (hated it), vodquila (hated it), snails (yum!), caviar (blech), and snake (not alligator... and that picture reminds of a gator in a tanning booth), and I have had crickets, both live and dead. The dead was seasoned and tasted like extra crunchy potato chips.

I've had everything on this list except for Chapulines, but I have had deep fried crickets, and if those were anything to go by, it'll be amazing with beer.

Live octopus was definitely a highlight - it is something I've been craving for for a whole decade since I last went to Korea.

One thing I think you've left out of the list - a good bowl of pho.

Number 6 is really not humane. The least you can do when eating an animal is kill it as quickly as possible before you start chewing on it. Octopuses (yes, that is the correct plural form) may be invertebrates, but they are very smart and sentient. I could never bring myself to eat one alive.

Caviar is seriously overrated and yes I've had the good stuff, so are truffles, which aren't mentioned here. Alligator and snake are OK, just a meat, sort of like a cross between lobster and chicken in texture. Snails can be good, it all depends on the flavor they are prepared with because they don't have much of their own. Lobster is better than shrimp, a richer, fuller flavor.

I think the reason so much fuss is made of caviar is precisely because it's expensive. It's like diamonds, most people could tell a diamond from zircon but they pay absurd prices for them. Caviar is OK, it's just not as amazing as you'd expect it to be. Truffles taste very earthy, they add a nice flavor to sauces but again, they cost more than their weight in gold which doesn't scale to their actual tastiness.

Still, a lot of any sensory perception is in your head, a sort of gastronomic placebo effect. If paying a lot for something makes you believe it tastes great, then it will taste great to you.

Yeah, that's true, actually I saw on a tv show a experiment about that. They made people believe they had 2 different cakes, one ridiculously expensive and the other very cheap, they tasted both and everyone said the expensive one was tastier, what they didn't know is that it was the same shit, just they played with their minds.

So.. I have a normal palate, since I eat regular stuff, so I honestly don't know what to expect about caviar and truffles.

If you wanna try chapulines, maybe you should google escamoles, they don't sound appealing to me at all, but Mexicans eat it, maybe one day I try, but I doubt it.

As a vegetarian, I would probably try only Dragon Fruit and maybe Caviar. I've had Wasabi and Irish Coffee already, and I liked it... well, Wasabi is a bit spicy, but it's ok in small amount. Irish coffee is great, and as for Vodquila, I don't like alcohol, but perhaps I would try just a little bit. :)
