Let's Address Real Issues, Modern Feminism Doesn't!

Many of you may start to wonder why I care so much about about "feminism". Well it's because I was once a feminist, because where I come from early marriage was on the rise and I didn't like it, but now I am ashamed to have ever called myself a "feminist" because modern feminist doesn't even care about real issues in life, the current head is actually calling out the gaming company on over sexualized female characters...like WDF!!!!...ehm...excuse my language but did the "fictional" characters complain to her that they need more clothes?!...there are real women problems out there nobody sees, why? I don't mean to brag but if I was the head of feminism group do you know what i would do? let me tell you..

First would be the establishment of a "women centre" or to upgrade the current ones to help women. Studies show that women are more likely to abuse children...like we are suppose to be mothers, there is something wrong, we need to tackle such an issue so abuse rates drop and every mother brings up children in a well leveled home. The establishment of an adjustment programme where new mothers with no older female relatives or female relatives who are unfit are assigned "helpers"(actually nurses or successful mothers) who help them adjust into motherhood and teach them how to deal with stress. while we are at it why not put cooking into the works of it, women who are interested in cooking can have classes as well for cheaper prices, so she is educated on food and nutrition and feeds herself and the family well, wives can bring their husbands as well. so we can avoid this:

Again women have self esteem issues that never seem to leave, an example is, all the beautiful women who have lost their breasts, hair etc to cancer, we need to make them understand a woman is a woman no matter what, stop wasting money on scarves or wigs (except in winter) go out and be proud, women who lost their hair to alopecia shouldn't feel any less beautiful, hair is nothing, having it doesn't mean you are beautiful and loosing it doesn't mean you are ugly.

Love yourself, throw those scarves out!

Modern feminism briefly dealt with slut shaming but didn't even go deeper into in it (mostly cause most slut shamers are women), some people do it as choice, however some are sex addicts, just like drug addicts we have sex addicts, some sex addicts may have been abused or assaulted at childhood which is the problem and we need to help them or those who want to be helped.

Identity, I noticed something, women have this "jealous" nature, let me give an example we have Emma, when a woman more beautiful than Emma walks past her, instead of complimenting her or just admiring her beauty, Emma decides to hate her and look for faults in her, to make emma feel good about herself. Why?

Emma only has "ugly" friends to make herself feel good, why? Why do we get so jealous over each other, why can't we admire each other and leave it at that. if i was the head of feminism i would make groups to address this, cause this "jealousy" has ended relationships and even broken families when we have a situation where the daughter is jealous of the mum and visa versa. or when we say oh her breasts or butt are fake in a sad attempt to make ourselves feel better about our lesser features,

We need to understand that the beauty of one woman doesn't take away from your own.

Also the center will be responsible for funding women in other parts of the world where needed, girls are kidnapped, forced to bear the kidnappers children and live in misery, girls are sold by families for money, females are circumcised and you "feminists" are busy telling the gaming company to stop giving fictional characters big breasts? hmph what a world we live in.

These are issues we need to deal with right now...oh what about rape you ask? well let me define rape because most people can't even define it anymore:

Rape: is the act of forcefully having sexual intercourse with an unconsenting individual.

Before anyone can be convicted of rape the rapee needs to bring evidence to support their claims, just like when a suspect in a murder is found, he/she cannot be convicted of murder until they can be proven guilty.

Although i do agree with the main point of this take (that feminists need to focus on more important things), some of the things you said just sound wrong and sounded like your just putting women down. you said that women are usually responsible for child abuse so something must be done, well what about men usually being responsible for rape? not only are they the ones usually responsible for raping women, but children as well. why wasn't there a solution mentioned for that? people say they hate feminists, but clearly their job isn't done yet. and what does cooking have to do with anything, not all women are housewives. they work too. if a woman wants to cook, then she should, if a man wants to cook, then he should. if they both want to cook, even better. but its not a woman's responsibility to come home from work and cook for everyone. and i dont know who this "Emma" character is but no, women do not have some jealousy nature since birth. media (which is controlled by men) is responsible for women turning on each other and becoming competitive about everything instead of being friendly towards each other like they used to be (back when women cared about each other so much that they united and started feminism) things have changed a lot since then, but its not because women are just insecure by nature. a lot of brainwashing has been done to make us more competitive. and its not like men never act that way, they just dont express it as much because society teaches them that they need to keep their feelings in and act "manly". but i do agree with the rest. some feminists focus on such small simple things, when they could be focusing on much more important matters

thank you for the comment, however we are addressing female issues, and not men. You can't put one sex down for something both sexs commit, if you go online you can find many cases of female teachers sexually harassing their students.
Emma is a character I made up on the spot to get my point across.
The cooking as I said "bring your husband along" is for food and nutritional lessons so that the child is well fed and healthy, when you have a child the immaturity has to stop, I do not want any malnurished children running around because mummy said "cooking is not my responsibility if daddy won't do it neither will i", oh and what you said is false my mum is a nurse and still cooks for us, the number of times reduced because of her age.

Women are more likely to be violent towards children and their significant other then men. The reason is very simple, they can get away with it. If no one is allowed to call women out then women have no incentive to act like decent human beings. Its the same thing with children, if you never punish a child for doing wrong, never call them out on their behavior they become spoiled and selfish. You will never see this with men and the reason is very simple, no one would ever tolerate this behavior from them. We would immediatley call them out, and in fact we punish them even whe they have done nothing wrong. The issue is feminism, feminism has removed accountability in women and this is the result. Remove feminism, remove the ideology that women can never be questioned and never be held accountable for their actions, remove the victim mentality and every issue will resolve itself.

I think of feminism as a mindset rather than an organization. Rather, while there feminist organizations, I don't think there is a single person or group that truly represents all its members.

Feminism, if attempting to put a definition to it, is EXTREMELY confusing nowadays. Why? There is such a broad spectrum of what is constituted as a "real" feminist. People define what is real or not based on their personal beliefs. Personal beliefs are bias and based on individuals themselves, not group ideology.

From that, I don't think feminism is necessarily bad at its core, but people taking radical approaches in it taint its and distort what my personal view of feminism really is.

While most men and women -- feminists and non feminists, would probably say "what is wrong with this person," there are a select group who think that this video speaks sense. It's the feminists who proposition things like this that are the "rotten eggs" of the feminist group. The majority, on the whole, I think are fine though.

With this in mind, I don't think one can really address feminism as a whole anymore and apply any real specifics to it whether criticism or praise. It'd be unnecessarily generalizing.

It's not like I completely disagree with your mytake (like how rape charges should be met with evidence before conviction. "Innoncent until proven guilty." That makes sense. Example being 'mattress girl'). However, I think it is unfair to particularly denounce feminists as a whole.

There have been both good and bad people who label themselves as "feminists" whom I have met throughout my life.

As a side note, if you reference a "study," it would be a good idea to back it up with a link or citation to who performed the study. I'm not saying I don't believe you, but I have met many on GAG who put "studies show... [insert lie]" to try and give false credit to their argument. It also is nice to see the setup of experiments and the background info.

I wouldn't say the majority of feminists are radicals, but rather the most outspoken ones are radicals. Admittedly, me claiming the majority aren't radicals is speculation but I can only base off of anecdotal evidence.

Nevertheless, I said it was generalizing because I believe there is a silent majority that makes up the majority of feminism. It is generalizing because there are feminists who are not radicals. Applying one group (radicals) to the whole = generalizing.

It is kind of like US politics. The majority of the common people are actually moderates-- in a gray zone between democrat/republican. However, the politicians or the spokespeople are radicals. While the politicians may be on the front page of their political party, their views don't necessarily represent every person in their party as a whole.

I think an issue is that so many people on either mens rights or womens rights movements are just trying to turn the stats into a competition. Both are trying to prove that their gender has it worse off and that the other gender is the cause for the majority of the issues which is the most counterproductive crap ever. I'm not saying you're doing that I just want to address the women abusing children thing more by saying it also doesn't take into account that women do it more because there are more mothers with their kids whereas there are more deadbeat dads so they aren't around to abuse. Personally I don't think either gender is more prone to being abusive. Almost all domestic abuse stats show that both men and women are equally the cause.

I think instead of all this time of everyone trying to prove they are the biggest victim (not sure why so many people see that as something to be proud of because it's an awful thing) we need to just acknowledge each others issues. Everyone just wants to be heard but they are afraid they will be ignored so they tried to get the other groups issues ignored instead so it doesn't happen to them but that's selfish and wrong. I know this is a little off topic from what you said but I think it would benefit the issues you talked about if everyone stopped trying to be seen as the ultimate victim/gender that does less wrong because that mindset means your entire identity is based around your sex and it shouldn't be.

I would add that pretty much the entire plight of women in the Middle East and particularly Saudi Arabia is a massive issue which mainstream feminists are too inclined to ignore. Never mind that women are being trafficked as little girls, having their genitals mutilated, and being forced to "marry" men old enough to be their grandfathers; some campus slut got called a slut, therefore that is the bigger deal. Just shows you how much wisdom is out there in the female world. Not much by the sounds of it. Every issue you brought up is an effect not quite cause. If you want to cut get rid of a bush in your garden do you clip the branches? No. You cut down the main trunk and rip up the roots then no more branches will grow. There's a list of good characteristics and a list of bad ones that define a good or bad person. If I embrace a bad one like vanity for instance it comes with a whole host of different bad effects like jealousy, shallowness, selfishness and it pretty much retards a person's cognitive function to the point of a halfwits.
