The movie theater and the mall are getting pretty stale these days, so why not surprise your significant other with one of these fresh, new outings?
1. Rose Garden Stroll
Strolling through a rose garden with your significant other is a romantic way for you both to spend some quality time together. Get intimate as you experience the lovely aromas of hundreds of rose varieties; and, as an added bonus, rose gardens make wonderful wedding venues!
2. Open House Tour
Even if you're not looking to buy, touring an open house with your significant other can be a great conduit for intimate conversation about your next (or first) home together. Plus, there's always the potential for free homemade cookies.
3. Nursing Home Visit
Many of our community's oldest members are full of wisdom and love, but for various reasons, must live in nursing homes, day after day feeling isolated and alone. A visit to a nursing home with your significant other will not only brighten an older adult's day, but you may even make a new friend or learn something new.
4. Cat Café Rendezvous
These adorable #themecafés are popping up everywhere and are a perfect blend of food and fun for you and your significant other. Order up a hot beverage and snack while giving some local foster-cared kitties some love. Since they're all up for adoption, support the animal shelter closest to you by visiting one of these cafés today.
5. Paint N' Sip Experience
It's common knowledge that cheese and chocolate marry well with wine...but what about pairing that Pinot Noir with some painting? The "paint and sip" industry has blossomed since 2007 with the establishment of studios offering fine wine and art lessons. These "wine and design" studios are a great alternative to the bar or club, and the experience appeals to couples and families alike.
