These days people are criticised for every thing. From the clothes they wear to the car they drive. The music they listen to and the way they look. Society is such a pious,fickle thing. Why can't we just all be who or what we want to be without being criticised for it?

The biggest thing that gets a lot of heat these days is the whole feminism/menism issue. So much bickering back and forth about what are traditional roles and what modern society has to say. Some people think women should only be barefoot,pregnant,and in the kitchen. Some people think guys should be totally masculine,weight lifters, and the main earner for the family. Why not just let them be who they want to be. If a woman wants a CEO job at a bank that is her decision and hers alone. If a man wants to be a stay at home dad with the kids all day let.him be.

If you dress too provocative you're labeled a slut. If you dress too conservative you're labeled a prude. Unfortunately we are judged as well on what we wear. If we wear a suit and tie people think we're rich. If we wear jeans ans t shirts people think we're peasants. Clothes do not make the man. The man makes the clothes.

If you vote Donald Trump you're labeled a Racist. If you vote Bernie Sanders you're labeled a lazy college student or millenial. If you vote Hillary Clinton you're labeled a traitor. Why should it be anyones business how you vote? That is supposed to be secret anyways.

You don't have to listen to Nicki Minaj, Beyonce,One Direction ot Katy Perry to be cool.

You don't have to stop watching Disney movies and eat cereal because you're an adult.

You don't have to feel ashamed because your body is skinnier or bigger than other persons.

You don't have to hate LGBT persons because you are Christian or any other religion. In fact the most important message in most faiths.is to love one another and respect them for who they are.

You don't have to have the newest gadget or toy because your friends have it.

You don't have to have sex or not have sex because everyone else is doing it younger and younger.

So tell me, Where have all the Average People gone? There is no such thing as average! We are all different no matter who we are!

Easy solution to this problem:
Stop worrying about being "cool" everything is subjective and it's a worthless description anyway. You'll chase that status forever only to realize that it doesn't exist. The people you're describing as cool are the people that don't fit into those boxes. Meanwhile you're trying to tick off checkmarks like it's some kind of grocery list of "things to be in order to be cool"

Actually I feel that most people are average and just don't want to admit it. Like the typical "girl gamer" who has to brag about being a female while a gamer while no one gives a fuck. Or the "vegan" who make a lifestyle change and is telling meat eaters to do the same but in a aggressive way. Even though there so many vegans online doing the same shit but they act like their special. We just live in a time where people assholes can be assholes anywhere on the internet and get away with it.
