I see and hear this all the time. "There is no such thing as race, we're all part of the one race, the human race" and other such nonsense. While I suppose they would be right and it would be different subspecies of humans... it's nonsense, feel good falsehoods. The reality is, yes. Different races are different... because we have different genetics.

Today we will look at a few examples showing that yes, there are genetic differences among races, from actual reliable sources, not your idiot friend or a liberal social studies teacher. No, it's not college paper quality, this is just some surprising points, for breaking the ice for the poor fragile souls who have been deceived and fed utter lies their whole lives.

1. Asian/Caucasian kids have higher rates of mental illness than full blooded Asian kids

Maybe the genetics don't match up as well in certain areas? So much for "fresh blood makes you stronger." From the University of California, Davis, 2008...

2. Black/white couples have a drastically higher rate of stillborn/birth complications than white/white couples, even accounting for economic and social backgrounds.

3. The University of California, Berkely, examined 1.1 million applicants over 17 years, from 1994-2011... they found that instead of race not being important, they found "More than a third of the variance in SAT scores can now be predicted by factors known at students’ birth, up from a quarter of the variance in 1994.

Of those factors, moreover, race has become the strongest predictor. Rather than declining in salience, race and ethnicity are now more important than either family income or parental education in accounting for test score differences. It must be cautioned that these findings are preliminary, and more research is needed to determine whether the California data reflect a broader national trend. But if these findings are representative, they have important implications for the ongoing debate over both affirmative action and standardized testing in college admissions."

In other words, after looking at 1.1 million applicant's SAT scores over 17 years, they found that race had a bigger impact on your SAT scores than your parent's education or family wealth. That is, you being black or white had a bigger impact on your SAT scores than if you were poor or rich, or from high school grad parents or college graduates.

Oh and for you bitches that said racism made biracial Asian americans have higher mental health problems? Asians score higher on SAT's... and more importantly, have higher IQ scores than Caucasians. 4. On a random, not serious note, Africans might be more vulnerable to cold injuries than Caucasians. I haven't really looked into it so I don't know.

Kind of makes sense, especially if you believe Africans spent the last 100k+ years being shaped by evolution in Africa, and Caucasians spent the last 100k+ or whatever years being shaped by evolution in much colder climates. 5. On another random note, apparently the blood bank and medical services didn't get that note that race is only skin deep.

There are more than a few sources saying more blacks are needed to donate blood, because it's a much better match for black blood receivers with sickle cell anemia, which is also a genetic illness that one race has much more of than others.

I see the OP doesn't know the difference between genetics and heritability.

The reason why blood banks sort blood by race is because of the heritability differences of said group, not because of race. Most Americans (I'm talking about people from North/Central and South America) are Blood Type O. Most Scandinavians are Blood type A and most Russians and Asians are Blood type B. So if you try to trade the blood of your average white American with your average white Russian then you would be in a world of trouble.

Blacks, Indians, Middle Easterners and Mediterraneans (who are white by the way) are more likely to get sickle cell anemia because they come from a geographic region in which malaria (which thrives in tropical climate) is very common. The gene variant for sickle cell disease is related to malaria, not skin color or race.

The article about the African being more vulnerable to cold weather is simply stupid. Obviously the man is trying to get money and using race as his argument. Eskimos are darker than white people and they have been living peacefully in frigid climates for well over 10,000 years. And the first/second wave out of Africa that eventually populated Eurasia was done by dark skinned people. If black/dark skinned people are vulnerable to cold weather, then there wouldn't be any white/asian people to begin with since science has proved that black people were the original homo sapiens.

The article about SAT scores is also flawed, because African migrants do better academically then both African Americans and White Americans. Instead of employing Occam's Razor and going with the simple argument of "they score differently because they look differently" maybe it would be a better idea to look at the culture within said group and see how they prepare themselves for the SAT.

As for the first two points of yours, they really don't prove anything especially since they are very premature in their study and even alluded to social factors being the issue.

Nothing you wrote supports the concept of race. Genetic difference yes but not race. The concept of race isn't about genetics it's about categorization of humans based on identifiable markers. And that's where the problem with race is. There are no distinct markers that can be used to accurately separate races. There are no phenotypic markers or genotypic markers or even a combination of markers that could be used to create definitive lines between different races of people. Human genetics is clinal. The concept of race is almost like looking at a rainbow and saying it's made of 6 colors but we all know the colors in the rainbow blend seemlessly and if you were trying to decide if something was consider red or orange the line between the two just doesn't exist. The concept of race arose before the concept of genetics and those that popularized had barely seen a fraction of the human race. There were originally 3 races Negroid, caucasoid, and monogoloid. I am African American and look like the first pick. My mother my brother and most of my aunts (my mothers sisters) look like Hispanic women and are often called Hispanic. From the perspective of science race is a social construction - there's absolutely no way you could, for example, take a DNA sample from an anonymous man, sequence his genome and, based on the results of the sequencing be able to say with any degree of confidence whether or not he's black. There are genes for "black skin," "curly hair," and other phenotypical markers associated with being black but there is no gene for being African-American. Why? 1. Being twice as likely to be diagnosed with a problem does not mean it is twice as prevalent. I know a LOT of mixed Asian-White families. They tend to have a higher household income than average for either white or Asian (excluding Asian Indians). Higher income is often correlated with more doctor visits and therefore more likely for a problem to be diagnosed.

If you want to look at something really interesting, look at the prevalence of Asperger's syndrome among mass murderers. It shows up at an amazingly high rate.

2. Those "adjustments" done to data means they take a data set, then turn it into something make believe. Trying to make comparisons when so many variables are involved is more trickery than analysis.

3. There is most definitely a difference in the intelligence distribution curves between the races, and more particularly between families. What they are saying is people of different races are not different species. You can procreate and face vast majority of the same problems put in the same situations. Have you considered that perhaps because this is an immigrant country, the brightest people managed to immigrate here and thus have a higher-than-average collective IQ? That they might not be representative of their populations back in Asia?

Culture effects the things you listed here. Mental illness to school exams/grades are greatly effected by how your culture treats you and preps you for them. The child birth stat is mostly down to different healthcare systems or more often because a higher percentage of people in minorities are poorer (if we're talking black America... a term I dislike).

Racism can still exist at high academic studies. Many of these studies cited are mis-categorized and mis-represented.

The genetic differences between humans can be observed the same as animals. Different breed's of dogs have different traits. But overall, that doesn't mean one breed is better than the other. It's just some owners prefer this breed or that breed. Inter-breeding between species is the future. Some of the most amazing dog breeds today are because of it.

Just like everything else, our food's have been genetically modified with inter-breeding, that's why some vegetables like corn are massive now compared to it's original breed. The racial classification where we use to group ethnicity today is not the same method used for thousands of years. During the 17th century, nationalism and empires was used to separate demographics between the people. Today race is used and it is a construct of modern America which only has occurred for the last 200 years.

If you read the first few chapters of the bible, you can see many groups of ethnicity that no longer exist and some that still do. The human race has changed drastically with new ethnic groups appearing from assimilation. When I say assimilation, I mean interbreeding between ethnic groups.

It should be noted that the Roman Empire was much more advance than anything Medieval Europe was. Ancient Romans had working sewers while Medieval Europeans were tossing their feces in the middle of the street.

Many empires have had miscegenation. It's the result of the current nations we have today. I encourage you to study anthropology. You will realize that if we were to seriously only stick within our own ethncity. Everyone would only marry in their own homelands or even towns. Nations would never exist, kingdom's would not exist. The extreme form of marrying to your own kind is incest and that is something some royal families have actually done, they started noticing the problems immediately, so that's why it was norm for royal families to marry their children to other royal families. There is no such thing as a heart drug that works only for Blacks and no one else. The drug you are referring to is called BiDil and it's a combination of two heart medications which can be used by individuals of any race when given separately. African-AMERICANS are the only ones allowed to get the combined treatment because studies showed that it worked BETTER for them. However, ONLY AFRICAN-AMERICANS (which is a ethnic group, not it's own race) can get the combination. An African or Jamaican or a Black Canadian cannot receive the drug just because their black. Why? Because Ethnicity > > > Race.

The heritability of IQ depends on how diverse the environment is. So "genes" can account for as low as 45% of our IQ or 80% of it. It depends on the diversity of the environment. There's a reason why heritability rates of IQ was higher among Whites in the UK and USSR then it was for Whites in the US. Look up the studies of Eric Turkheimer for more info.

Back in Biology Uni, my genetics teacher actually said the more genetically distant your partner is, the stronger the offspring (genetically speaking).

The above study cited about biracial children has nothing to do with genetics. It's a mis-leading assumption made from comparing the biracial children to full blooded racial children.

All biracial children tend to grow up isolated from their families and community if racism is a major reason for separation. It's a growing up issue and not genetic.

Majority of attractive celebs are actually bi-racial. So qualities of higher health may be a contribution to more attractiveness as higher health does correlate to being more attractive.

And even those within one race who are attractive are a mix of different ethnicity make up. You will rarely find someone attractive of just one nationality. Their family usually has many different nationalities in their gene pool. It might be of one race, but not of one nation.

It perfectly makes sense why mixed people would be genetically stronger, if a certain defect is present in certain population, chances of having the diseases present in a homozygous way is higher, thus, higher risk of developing the disease on the other hand, when you mix with an other race chances are, that specific gene won't be homozygous, thus lesser risk of developing the disease.

The reason bastard dogs are healthier is because 'pure bred' dogs are actually infested with diseases. You will notice that every breed has a certain health issue that almost every 'pedigree' dog of that breed has.

American bulldogs have issues with their legs, or hips, causing them to become bow legged as they age, which can be quite painful (is currently happening to my uncles dog)
I believe it is staffies who often end up with twisted bowels, and dont even get me started on chihauhas.

Mix breeding dogs works because you're evening out these issues, sharing genetics.

Mix breeding humans does NOT work because we are already in our natural state, mix breeding only creates an unatural state, such as what the 'pedigree' dog is.

From a genetical point of view it makes PERFECT sense on why interracial mixing can produce a stronger offspring in terms of immunity and survival. You only need basic understanding of genetics. Homozygous and Heterozygous concept. The closer the partners (genetically) the higher chance of having defective genes in a Homozygous pattern, the higher the risks of developing the disease. THIS IS EXACTLY why kids from incest relationships are more prone to have malformation.

I know a bit about dogs though. And from the way dogs work, yes incest is bad (thats where pedigrees come from and the main reason there are so many issues) and letting them breed bastards is the best solution to their issues.

So there are ups and downs, and depending on your side, its either one or the other.

UCLA has made the media several times with accusations of racism by professors and students.
Professor Val Rust was the target of a protest alleging that microaggressions of a racial climate were common in the culture of UCLA.
UCLA student Alexandra Wallace made a racist rant on youtube back in 2011 that got national attention.

UCLA seems to get a lot of press about racial tensions and racism in general. These studies from UCLA must reflect the social climate of the university while being published.

There are a number of genetic illnesses that hit certain ethnic groups much more than others. For those that are recessive (sickle cell anemia, cystic fibrosis, etc) mixing ethnic groups will radically reduce the odds of the child having that genetic disorder.

I'd need to see a lot more to be convinced on the Caucasian-Asian mental illness angle, because I know so many Asian families with undiagnosed mental illness because of family shame and avoiding dealing with it. I'd suggest biracial families may be much more likely to seek a diagnosis.
