We as a collective people, do as we're told. We have rebels, those who rape, murder, abuse, steal and do countless other crimes. Even mundane crimes such as running a red light.

They in general, do it out of greed, lust...they lack self-control. We the People need to recognize the people in our world.

We need different rebels. The ones who see past the government’s words and lies.

I am not blaming the American government completely for all the death, they are not the main cause of it but rather they capitalize on it as an opportunity to push their agenda.

The government is corrupted.

They use us for control, and for their greed. They basically say "I have the power to let you do what you want so pay me a lot of money and I'll allow it" and even then, they’re allowance of most stuff is restricted.

We as a people, need to start fighting back against the government. I spoke of the North Dakota Pipeline and even asked a question about who has and hasn't heard of it. They are even making fake articles to make it as if the company is the one being attacked.

Some protesters were violent and they should not be, I do not condone their actions in the slightest, and as they are giving a bad name to the peaceful ones, more Native Americans were taken to the hospital due to dogs and pepper spray than guards. It says they “crossed on private property”....do you mean their private property which you are destroying?

On Facebook and google there is more about the IPhone 7 (About 347,000,000 results) than the pipeline (About 1,460,000 results). Even worse, Colin Kaepernick's "protest" has more results (About 4,330,000 result).

We certainly have our priorities straight don't we?

As an example, churches don’t need to pay taxes. But everyone else does. Huge corporates even evade their taxes and no one cares until it goes public and becomes a huge scandal. Only then is it taken seriously and the punishment isn’t even equal to the crime.

Like Brock Turner. He is a rapist, yet there was still many “but she….” Disputes. He was served 6 months, yet only did 3 due to “good behavior”.

45,000 horses are to be killed due to Bureau of Land Management.

I am a very large animal lover as many of you might know, but even if I wasn’t this would still outrage me. Due to their ignorance of their responsibility thousands of innocent animals are going to be killed. The Bees are dying too but no one cares about them either! The great barrier reef is dying but there's no media coverage on how to fix it.

Not in the name of making food or protection, but because they are irresponsible.

I believe all of this should be the breaking point. In Venezuela there was a riot, millions of people pouring out onto the streets flooding every corner. Why? Their government is starving them. If this continues the way it is, they're all going to starve to death and they will no longer have any people to govern.

Instead of fighting each other, such as the BLM movements, and killing each other, and destroying reservations, why don't we fight the real people behind this?

Of course not every figure in the government is corrupt but there is certainly quite a number of them. The government is trying to divide us. By killing us. By forcing us to turn against each other. This is basically a watered down version of the Purge meets a cliche horror movie.

That cliché line of "They want us to turn against each other" fits perfectly for this scenario.

We need to act out and speak up. Don't buy the Iphone7 just because it's the new phone. Don't do something in your life simply for social status, materialistic needs, or simply because you can.

Take a stand for what you believe in. Take a stand for those who need it. The Native Americans, the Venezuelans, ourselves. Nothing will change for the better if we do not try to change it.

We, as a collective need to open our eyes! We need to see the monsters around us. We do not matter in the eyes of the government. If we allow the government to continue as they are, the world will eventually become chaos. We cannot do nothing and allow them to ruin the world for future generations to come.

I do not want children but that does not mean I want everyone else's children to deal with the mess we allowed the government to create.

Everything they do is in the name of G.O.D. (Gold, Oil, Drugs).

Well, most people aren't and never have been able to be on top of many issues, let alone -all- issues.

True participatory democracy only has potential to work on a very local scale. Even then it pushes the limits of what people can be expected to know about.

The original idea of representative democracy was basically that you'd pick someone locally who you trusted to be prudent and reasonable and send them off to the capital to make the best decisions they could, and to rely on input from committees and experts, etc.

You're picking out issues that are dear to you, yet it's very easy for many people to argue they are of incredibly minor importance. There are a lot of people who think the number of black humans being shot is perhaps more important than the number of horses being shot. There are other people who would argue the tens if not hundreds of thousands of humans at risk in the conflicts in Syria and Iraq and future regional stability is a lot more important. Some others think climate change is all that matters, others think that economic decisions that could result in better or worse jobs for millions (which can be directly tied to many, many deaths or better lives) is more important.

So you can encourage people to open their eyes, but most won't think the issues YOU think are most important are the most important to them.

And even those who do? Many actually won't agree with you.

It's easy to imagine when you become passionate about something that if everyone was just more aware, they'd agree, but that rarely seems to be true.

I would argue that large corporations not paying taxes is almost never taken seriously. Too big to jail, as they say. Corporate tax rate is 35%, but, for instance, Apple has a subsidiary in Ireland where they negotiated a deal for a 4% tax rate. So, funnel US profits to Ireland, and suddenly they're paying a hell of a lot less in taxes. This is used, as are many more loopholes and unfair tax deductions and credits. The end result being corporations paying less in taxes than an average citizen

The issue with an American collective is that it's not a collective. It's a combination of individualists. And individualists only care about themselves. So long as the majority is living in relative comfort, they won't give a fuck. And, like 1984 Orwell: the plebs will never revolt. The Occupy movement was a pretty good centered attempt focusing on this one issue of income inequality and government corruption. Unfortunately: no end-game.

I don't know enough about these individual events to have much say however I do know that your response is one sided, the pipe line, how many jobs will that create in a country that is floundering? That could be much more beneficial to the many so how is selfishness going to combat selfishness? Its selfish to demand it be stopped and selfish to have it completed. If it betters the nation then every one should be behind it, if however it only benefits a few then we should be against it. Brock turner, okay he may have raped her, it seems like the case though both where heavily intoxicated so that should be accounted for and the fact that punishment does nothing, what matters is if a lesson is learned if some one changes we should not try and hurt some one for their action we should be trying to ensure the action doesn't happen again. The issues are not that the government is bad, how did those people get into power? You, the populace. How did they become corrupt? Well a society that said its okay to be self indulgent taught him to drink himself stupid despite the fact that it impairs judgment, it taught her to drink her self into oblivion while telling her not to think of the consequences of doing so. It told them both to get drunk and try to get laid (she had given consent before blacking out (not that I am suggesting what he did was justifiable only that she was out indulging herself without fear of consequences same as him). Now obviously that doesn't mean she deserved this it does not mean it was okay it was rape (as far as I can tell from what little information I have) but we cannot pretend like this couldn't have been avoided if both parties simply controlled

Yet society itself has told the individual that they do not have to be responsible for their own actions let alone for their own wellbeing. It has told them to be happy to always do what they want without fear of consequence, every time you do not call out the behavior you encourage it. Its not the government its not even the corporation or the rich, its us the society that creates the rules that enforces the rules and then passes the rules down to the next generation. To quote Thomas Sowell, "I never understood how its greedy to want to keep your own money but not greedy to want to take some one elses." We claim the rich are greedy, that corporations are greedy all the while exhibiting the same behavior as they do, vested self interest and a lack of empathy towards others. The pipeline is bad, why? Because it cuts into some one elses land while also creating many jobs that are very much needed? Who is being selfish? Both parties are doing the same thing how can you fault one but not the other? @SovereignessofVamps As for my account I had to change it my email was hacked and they locked me out of most of my accounts (I used derivitave passwords to keep track of everything but it also makes it easier to hack said accounts) and they locked me out of my original account. This website pretty much refuses to even talk to me when I asked about the issue and if their was any way to reclaim my old account so I have to use a new one (and work my way up the experience point ladder because apparently your not allowed to do much of anything with no experience on this website for some asinine reason).

@SovereignessofVamps Of course not. Yahoo got hacked and had a lot of their information stolen, I, having a yahoo email account, was unfortunate enough to have my account information stolen. It was russian hackers (generally what happens is they steal the information then auction it off so some times their is a delay in the information being stolen and the information actually getting used). They then proceeded to take all the information from my email and figured out all the sites I have accounts on and then proceeded to use that information to hack said accounts, probably selling the information as well. Thankfully most of them I was able to recover however my Steam

I agree that the government is corrupt, but there are some points that you're missing out on completely.

For example, you talked about the Amerindians who were on private property and were removed. Your answer was in your post. You said they were on private property, end of story. They were trespassing. You don't have a right to be on other people's property.

Furthermore, Venezuela's problems come from it's horrible economic system. They are one of the last remaining socialist nations, and their economy is in the toilet because of that. They are out of food and toilet paper because they wanted communism and now they're stuck with it.

The only way to stop large forces like these are to shrink the government in most areas. The multinational corporations you are afraid of are in bed with the govt. People like George Soros and the Koch Bros are puppet masters of these corrupted shills who represent us. Warren Buffet wants to stop the pipeline for one reason, he owns the rails, he will lose money if the pipeline is built. Sidetone, I hope you know that the Keystone pipeline has been a thing already for a while now. The debate is over an extension of it.

I would also agree that the federal reserve is a corrupt, in fact the last president to stand against was Kennedy who was assassinated just days before passing a law that would have prevented the creation of the federal reserve. Those 45,000 horse should be culled for grazing but not cattle instead for the return of the American Bison as horses and cattle are not native animals.
As for the G. O. D well your part of the problem. How much Gold and oil did it take to produce your laptop/computer/phone or any other household product you use or piece of clothing you use. If you really think about your entire life is built on the exploitation of third world countries labor and natural resources. If your parents raise you to be selfish you become selfish, if your neighbors act selfish and your parents and the rest of society then you are more then likely going to take on those traits. Our society is decadent and selfish, its always about what makes you happy not what is right, what benefits you not what benefits others, so having people who embody that idea being elected into office (mainly because they make promises to fix peoples problems and bend the system to benefit them or say things that generally sound pretty (all of which is an exploitation of the peoples selfishness, appealing to their wants and desires)) is simply an inevitability.
