Bob Ross was the guy you would probably watch after school after the cartoons on PBS were off the air.His love for painting, wildlife, and his soft soothing voice provided comfort for millions of people. He always seemed to have such an upbeat look on life. Butbefoe he was ever a sucessful painter he was a Master Sargeant in the US Air Force stationed in Alaska. After retiring from the Air Force he vowed to never yell or raise his voice again. In fact his show is still so popular even after almost Twenty Five years after the last episodes were made that they are still reran on a constant basis on PBS stations nationwide and world wide.

Bob Ross was certainly a joy to many in his life and afterwards. He always seemed to remain positive even in trying times. But he was a man who was not let lifes troubles get him down. In fact, he found joy in the simple things. We should all do the same. Happy Painting!
