Hurt People Don't Always Hurt People

We've all heard that saying, hurt people, hurt people. It's true, but not always the case. Broken people come in all different shapes and forms, but I think that there are two main types. I call them fixers and wreckers.

Fixers are the hurt people that don't hurt people. These people may be damaged or broken themselves, but seem to find themselves drawn to other people that are hurting/damaged/broken because they want to help them. They have this need to "fix" things. They feel an overwhelming urge to put those broken people back together. Why? Because deep down they are longing for someone to do the same for them. How do I know? Because I am one.

Wreckers are the hurt people that hurt people. These are the broken individuals that break others. They get you to let them in, just to wreck shit and watch the fallout. They will manipulate until they get the outcome that they want. These people enjoy hurting others. Why? Because it gives them momentary distraction from their own pain. How do I know? Because I've dealt with my fair share of them.

Sorry if you were looking for links and facts. This is based solely off my personal experience. It's was just something that was on my mind. Thanks for reading.
