Honestly, I can't get enough of reading hidden facts about our planet earth, we all know that there are so many facts around the world that we are not aware of, I wish I knew all of them because they fascinate me and I would read about them all the time if i had more time -_- ..
So here is a list of a few countries that left me speechless, some special facts about them.

Malaysia In Malaysia, it's prohibited to wear yellow clothing, authorities decided to disallow people from sporting the sunny shade because it was the color worn by protest organizers, yellow t-shirts are “likely prejudicial to public order,”... Take a note, when you travel there, leave your yellow stuff at home.
France
In France, you can marry a dead person, it's called Postmortem matrimony and it has been legal in France since the reign of Napoleon. the living person does not acquire the deceased's assets following the union, so as to inhibit opportunistic gold diggers from exploiting the law. Well ... May they rest in peace.
NiueNiue is an island nation in the South Pacific, and its coins feature Disney and “Star Wars” characters.
(WOAH I WANT THEM FOR MY COLLECTION) It's a tiny Island (go check it out it's amazing) with a population of about 1,200 — but it's renowned for having Mickey Mouse on its money. In 2014, the most expensive coins were made from 7.1 grams of gold, featured Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Pluto. Aww man.
RussiaThese folks are amazing, they are planing to ban all things that have to do with “emo” because they were declared a threat to national stability. The authorities proposed this bad back in 2008, the so called anti-emo legislation was based on the presumption that the trend promotes depression, social withdrawal and suicide, and basically by 2020 teens will have to hang up their studded belts.
CanadaThey aren’t just about their lakes, bacon, and flannels, with 50% of its population having been educated at the post secondary level, Canada easily has the most educated populace in the world. It is followed by Israel at 45% and Japan at 44%. Well ... I guess we must suck in Italy .... -sigh-
Suriname Suriname has the ighest Percentage of Land Covered in Jungle basically 91% of its land covered in jungle, Suriname’s half-a-million residents live primarily along the coast near the capital. Only 5% of the population (mainly indigenous people) live inland. USACongrats USA, maybe you are not the fattest country in the world but, when it comes to incarcerating its population, the United States is the world’s uncontested leader ... they have the most people behind bars. According to statistics the U.S. has 5% of the world’s population but 25% of the world’s incarcerated population at 2.2 million people behind bars. Second comes China and then Russia

I enjoy reading facts about other countries. There are so many things about the world that I don't know. So, it's always good to learn. I knew that you can "hire" an handsome man to go on dates with you or to pretend he is your boyfriend in Japan.
Yes, India is one of the most populous countries in the world but I wouldn't say it's the most diverse when it comes to "race".
Until last year, it was technically illegal to dance in Japan after midnight or in a place without a special dance license. That didn't stop us from dancing all night long with night clubs all over Tokyo, but they were generally above ground or underground if they're in a central area and the bouncers had to be extra careful of police investigating.
There have been some times the police came to these places while I was there, and we had to stop dancing and pretend like it was a normal bar with just drinking and music.
You forgot Belgium! We're the country of compromise. With politics being done on a national level (Federal Government), regional level (French and Dutch speaking community), province level (we have 10 provinces) and communal level, you need to be good in compromising to get any political decisions made... Oh and not to forget: all those politicians hold important posts in companies. No mixed interests involved, of course 8) 8)

Haha I see... we all know Berlusconi and the "few interests" he had in companies, organisations, political parties and others 8) We didn't understand why Italians still voted for him... in Belgium he'd have been in jail for years!
Italian's didn't vote for him :) this is a deeper and complicated story, but i say one word : MAFIA... The population has nothing to do with it, we leave politics behind us it's not our priority because we get along with each other, actually we are very united and we don't care about politics since they don't care about us, so we help each other, it's something that people from the outside would never see, you have to live here in order to understand, We are amazing to be honest lol
The thing that got me was Suriname, and France.. I mean marrying a dead person.. I get it if you miss somebody, and being married to them will help you with the ultimate closure.. But it's still weird.. LOL.. And Suriname.. 91% Jungle.. I couldn't do it.. LOL..
In France marrying a dead person is only possible in case of accidental death when the marriage was already prepared and it needs a presidential authorization.
Yeah! Nice! But let me add some point. Japan The population is rapidly aging. Host clubs are places where women can hangout with 'hosts', who are the male employees. In a Maid café, young girls dressed as English maids are the waitresses. On the streets of Tokyo, you can hire a schoolgirl for a date. The costumers are mostly 40+ uncles. Japan is surely weird, but omoshiroi.
India The majority population is <35yo. This is the only country with third largest Muslim population (~10.9% of the world's Muslims) but is Hindu dominated. India held 22% of the worlds wealth (in gold) till 1774. The government never accepts any foreign aid, but gives billions in aid. Also it is the major food grain provider for North Korea.
