2. You won't click with everyone. And that's okay!

3. Let people do nice things for you sometimes.

Sometimes people just want to do nice things for you without expecting anything in return. So let them. You can always do something nice for them without expecting anything in return later on if you really want to.

4. Failure is not the end of the world.

You can always do better and be better. Keep trying.

5. Not everyone is going to like you.

Some people will dislike you for no real reason, that doesn't (necessarily) reflect on you at all. The sooner you accept that, the happier you will be.

There is no end goal and time cannot be spent answering emails, scrolling through social media, or folding laundry.

7. You can never know enough.

Take some time to engage in thoughtful conversations, read as much as you can, and watch something other than that Coronation Street marathon.

14. Letting go of old friends isn’t always sad.

Part of growing up is figuring out who’s worth keeping in your life. 21. Social media blackout days are good for the soul.

Take a day once a week and limit your social media use! You really don’t need to be a slave to the cell phone, and your brain will thank you for it. It just slows everything down and puts things into sharper focus. Be in the moment.

22. Be grateful with what you have.

23. Nothing in this world is permanent.

The good times won’t last forever, so cherish them while they’re here. The bad ones won’t either, so learn what you can in the moment, and know they’ll pass with time.
