Is there a thing like an e-boyfriend and e-girlfriend and how does it work?

so one of my girls has an e bf?how does that work and if its really working how does that differ to a real world boyfriend or girlfriend? Cause I think I need one..i have been feeling sad about new situations..this is for boys and girls..

Basically its like having an internet boyfriend or internet girlfriend. Some people really get carried away with this, which leads to like love you and everything. And eventually some unstable people become psycho and end up going krazy if they don't hear from you. I would reccomend not to give your number out..eventually that happens..

What else:

Pros:

- Someone their for you via internet

- Listens to your life and helps you out some how

- Stays up with you late night

Cons:

- Could be a totally fake person

- Could end up killing you

- Could end up being a psycho path and giving you fake info

- Could end up falling in love

- Might be taken to the Extreme - Causing Shock lol

i've got an e-girlfriend and the only thing different is no physical stuff, which sucks, but if you really like/love a person, and they love you back, with all that they have, (and I'm just saying this for me) I would do anything I can to keep it working, because lots of people can't even find that in person. You DO need to be careful though because SOME people out there are fakes, but that doesn't mean they are.

P.S. to HondaGuido08c, falling in love should never be considered a con.

Reminds me online dating. Difference is that e-bf and e-gf don't meet, they just spend hours chatting time away XD

Is this a serious thing? I get being able to go onto the computer and talk to someone but that's just way to weird with someone you have never met before I like Hondo's pros BUT you can have all those pro's from meeting someone on the internet and you talk and not be "e boyfriend and e girlfriend" that's just wierd...Get out and get a real boyfriend...I think these people should just be called internet friends and that's it
