How to get closer to this girl in my college class?

Hi there, I'm 18 and i'm in college.

There's this girl in many of my college classes. She's very beautiful and i noticed her right in the first day because of that. But that's basicaly what i know about her. I never talked to her. We did crossed paths some times like in our way to class or when we were leaving class but i never talk to her because since i don't know her i think it would be weird to just start talking to her like that.

She only knows one person in class and she's with her all the time. She never talks to other people except this one girl who sits right next to her, so i guess she's shy. I never see her outside classes because she leaves class quickly and i don't want to 'stalk' her to see where she goes.

We don't have assigned seats but everybody just pretty much established non-official seats so it would be weird if i just moved right next to her in class since i'm on the far left side and she's in the front right side. Also i think my friend who sits next to me all the time wouldn't be very pleased with that.

She did looked at me today and looked way when i looked at her but this could mean so many things that i don't really take it as a sign that she's interested in me. But at least it means she knows i exist :)

My question is how do i get closer to her? In class is almost impossible and i never see her outside class. She looks shy and i'm really shy too so that doesn't make it any easier. We don't have related friends either.

I'm not very experienced with girls so i guess i need advice in that matter as well. I have confidence issues although many people have told me i'm good looking.

How do i approach her? How do i start talking to her? I'm interested in her but i don't know how to start interacting with her...

You have a few choices. Just go and sit next to her, nobody should give a shit in college. And if they do, you shouldn't give a shit. Then talk to her and her friend like you would talk to anyone, when your friend comes in signal him to come sit next to you. Etc. Not that hard, as long as you stop caring what people think of you sitting somewhere different.

And/or you can catch up to her after class and talk. If you ever do see her in the halls by herself, definitely go talk to her and just start with "what's up".

I'm having this problem too. Sorry I can't give you any advice, but it will be interesting to hear what other people say.

Oh, but with the being shy thing and needing relationship advice, I'd just say to try and relax. I know it's hard, but it sounds like she's shy too, so she won't be expecting loads if she does like you. I think guys sometimes worry so much about getting it wrong, they don't go for it, which is the worst.
