Did you ever wish you were a different race/ethnicity?

I don't know but its like I can never appreciate who I AM. I'm always wanting to be other than what I am and my friends are starting to tell me as well. I really wanna be Brazilian , I feel like everything about them is perfect and all the guys love them and say there the "best looking women in the world". I actually day dream about life as a Brazilian. Before I was obsessed with being Asian. And it starting to annoy my friends but I can't help it. Did you ever wish you were an other race/ethnicity rather than your own

I'm a black guy and I actually grew up in an affluent white community. My family is also black and we have money XD (I'm throwing that out there because I don't want people to think I was adopted by a white family XD). Being in a white community, I used to wonder what it was like to be white. I always used to hear/see women going gaga over average white guys and it always seemed like my friends got things easier than I did or got things handed to them. So, for that reason, I used to wonder what it was like to be white and have that "white privilege".

These days... it doesn't really matter to me. All that matters to me now is making a name for myself with my own two hands without having race play a factor in what I do in life.

Back when I was a kid, I lived in a black neighborhood, and I definitely was pissed I couldn't do this with my hair...

But honestly, the type of dude I am, and the trouble with police I've had, I definitely would've been Michael Brown'd by now. The real white privilege doesn't come from what people do to you as much as what they DON'T do to you. I drive by police and they stay put almost every time. What a world we live in. Smh...

I do. It's just those things that I know about my race that foreigners don't understand. When you've lived with the same type of people for so long, you start to notice a lot of faults. But in the end, I'll always love who I am and where I came from because it's my blood and I have to deal with it. If I could choose, though, I would want to be some type of European because I like a lot of their food, music, clothing, etc. Maybe somewhere like Italy, France, Sweden, Iceland.

I sometimes wish I had naturally straight hair, just for a change. And that I was full European. Straight hair seems to be the most desired and it's so much easier to maintain. But then I think about what I'd be giving up for that and then I change my mind :P

I'm African, mixed with European down the line. But overall I look mixed/biracial. I have Hazel eyes, thick afro long hair and a pretty decent body :)

Uh Brazilian women pay top dollar to look like that, and even then, beautiful women of other races still shit on them. Most of the beautiful women I've seen were not Brazilian. And if they were so beautiful why weren't they known for this eons ago? I've always heard about blonde haired blue eyed women not Brazilian women.

definetely not greek.

"my" (in quotation marks because i don't feel much of a "greek" ) country sucks ass in almost every way except the good climate. economy sucks, food sucks, people's attitude suck, music sucks... like other Balkan countries as well.

It's only fair, that we are made fun of by other European countries... i believe Balkans should be separated from Europe because we don't deserve to call ourselves as "Europeans". If Europe was a house, then Balkan region would be the WC.

anyway i wish i was British, because i love British music, and their accent of course. :-)

Maybe Caucasian considering I tend to draw towards them more so than other ethnicities, and the fact that some people don't like the idea of me being with a white guy because they're not Hispanic, etc.

I am a mix of 4 races/ethnicities from both sides.

My mom is 50% Black Jamaican, 25% British, 25% Chinese Jamaican.

My dad is 75% Black Jamaican, 12.5% Polish, 12.5% Chinese Jamaican.

(I am not a sandwich, if you see what I did there.)

If you saw me, I'd look like any random black person, but people tell me they can tell I'm mixed race because I have grey eyes, and attached earlobes.

I'm Asian and I like it that way but sometimes I do wish I was of an European race cause Asians only have black hair and black eyes and it gets boring. I think green/blue eyes with black hair looks cool.
