Guys, Why do men protect women?

Usually I know why it happens. Just yesterday I wanted to remember old time and played one of the online fighting game. When guys in this online game saw that I was a woman, they started behaving in other way. One guy fighter came to me told me that I was no good at playing and he would help me to win, that he would protect me. And his aim of playing became to stay me alive (in game). Then i guessed that It doesn't only happen in reality but in online games too. And I am interested why do they try to protect you even in the game when they should play for their enjoyment and not for a strange woman?

well, i know where you are coming from. a lot of guys are also kind of desperate online. once they find out a girl is behind the controls, they immediately try to be super nice and stuff. but i play league of legends, and i actually met this girl online (looking for other players to play with). and she's quite attractive from her photos, if i might add. but when we are playing league of legends, she domnates me. like she will play supports, b ut not often. she taught me better irelia mechanics lol. after a while wee couldn't duo queue anymore because her mmr was higher. so she had me beat on her skills in the game. xD,.
TL; DR; its cuz there's a lot of thristy guys being super nice.

yeah same, i only saw her photo once she friend d me on facebooik, but that was like after a month player with her, and we just talked about stuff cuz we were the same age, college, etc..(also LoL use Skype for team communication stuffs so i had already talked to her xD)

This is one of those things that makes me laugh at patriarchy theory. Most men, just by by nature, are ready to die... without thought... on behalf of women. And yet we're the bad guys.

Anyway, think back to caveman days. Survival was tough and there weren't many people. If the limited number of women capable of bearing children were to die, so would the species. A pregnant woman is vulnerable, so it would be imperative that men should develop aggressive, protective instincts to ensure female safety.
