Is it wrong of my parents to buy my brother a car but not me?

My parents are buying my 17 year old brother a car and he just got his driver's license. I've had my driver's license for a year. My brother and parents won't let me get a car. They have to understand that I am an adult and I am capable and responsible of driving a car. I am a 19 year old girl and I don't want to rely on my parents to drive me places. I commute to college and I need to drive to school. I want to share a car with him but my brother probably won't let me drive his car. Is it wrong of my parents for refusing to get me a car as an adult but will easily buy my brother a car as a teenager?

Oh I feel you, my sister always got everything she wanted, even though she was older, but still, by the age of 18 she already had 3 laptops and a professional camera (she barely uses it), while I was still using the slow family PC and they complained when I bought a game with MY own money... once a year :(
I don't think it's fair, I mean, what is it that makes him need a car, but not you? Unless he has to go long distances for something important every day, I think it's unnecessary.
Maybe they expect you to buy your own car since you're an adult, but still, I see some favoritism towards your brother.

Dude... your parents bought one of you a car? That's something a lot of other teens would kill for. I know you didn't get one but that's a huge luxury and if your brother got a car without having to pay a cent out of his own pocket like most others, I can't imagine your life in general can be all that bad.

Sure, if might be irritating that you didn't get a car of your own but.. let's not get caught up in such a classic first world problem.

Well, i believe parents should be equal with all parents. Yes it's wrong for them to do that stuff. They should of got you a car and i bet 9 to 10 your brother will screw things up with that car.. Smh

Yes it is wrong, when my mother got her license she asked for a car and
was told to work for it, but when it came time for my uncles they each
got a car.
