Your petite size means you have less blood in your system. Most men have about 12 pints while women have a bit less. The smaller your body mass, the less blood your body needs to refresh your living cells.
So if you are of diminutive stature, you probably will become intoxicated more quickly than a larger person. I suppose that leads people to classify you as a "lightweight" drinker.

Drinking under 21 is illegal in most states i notice your 16 did report you
A 'lightweight' refers to how much you can drink before you get drunk. My brother can drink a bottle or more of liquor, and I would get drunk after a shot or two. He is a heavyweight, and I am a lightweight.
it has to do with a variety of things.
size is definitely a factor, but so is how often you drink, how much food you ate that day, how tired you are, etc..
I have a cousin who's 4'9" and she handles brandy and scotch well. She drinks heavy stuff and doesn't get drunk.
Haha 16.
But it means how much you can take to before you get drunk

Plus a few other odds and ends. It's not like being a heavyweight drinker is a good thing. That leads to alcoholism.
