If we're talking about the media in the west, then you need to look at this a bit more logically. Asian people make up a really small percentage in the USA compared to White people. That's why most white guys are with white women, since there is more of them than Asian women in the west.

It's like asking why is it rare to see Asian girls with white men in Koreans dramas. Well, that's because there are more Asians in Asia, of course...

Eh, depends on what country. As for America, whites are a vast majority. Asian are only about 5% compared to that of almost +70% white American. Most countries in the world choose whoever the majority of the population are because well they are after all the majority.
Although nowadays it has become a thing in American movies to always include someone of another race in it or they'll be shamed.

Movie makers want to make more money and having white looking actors appeals to a wider audience since the highest racial group in population terms where the movies are made and for those who it is made is the white race - at least in the countries where white movies are made
