Girls? Is it acceptable to wear speedos or not? (picture)

There's mixed reactions out there. Some girls say speedos are OK and some say eww no, and some say it depends on the body. Because I find speedos easier to swim in or to just move around in water. Board shorts are heavy when wet and drag you down and difficult to move in but it's like most of the time guys are expected to only wear boardshorts.

I'm just an average guy so from the picture am I acceptable to wear speedos or not acceptable?

I'm a boy and I think it is acceptable. I'm 14. I have always wore briefs. When I'm walking around the house and garden I'm only in my briefs, I sleep in only my briefs, my briefs is my beachwear and swimwear. As soon as I lay a foot on the sand I strip to my briefs. When I'm exercising i wear briefs. When I go to the gym I only have my briefs on (and the rare towel)

Speedos are ok for body builders, male models and water polo players... If you're just swimming in a pool or at the beach, you should go for some trunks. :)

A female lifeguard was smiling at me, while I was wearing my Speedos, before I got in the pool. Looked like to me she was trying not to laugh. It was suggested that I ask her why? I would've told her I was a grower not a shower. Not that it is her business. laugh all you want, I obtain more speed so I could break my time records. Talking to her I might have gotten hard. Then she'd see the real me.

I wore a speedo and got reemed for it! Now, I looked OK, but I still got slack for it. I now wear a speedo, but the longer cut, called "jammers" They go all the way to the knees and now one has said anything about those. They seem to be acceptable.

I wear speedos because I prefer them to the gangsta-style dork shorts from the surfer culture. They're better for tanning and swimming. And, I like the fact that my package is displayed too...lol. If chicks, even fat ones, can go in 2-piece bikinis to the beach and show us every nook and cranie of their nipples and camel toe, then it's ok for a guy to reveal his junk too. Let's face it guys have a bulge too, so deal with it.
