I like A but I'm just going by first impression. I don't know these characters or the shows they star in.
Besides, I'd take a fun-loving dumb girl who is really fun to hang around to an intellectual with no sense of humor.
I don't know how much the B character is outgoing and fun. Her type of humor doesn't seem to match mine (I think I would offend her repeatedly), and while I like women who can talk about non-trivial subjects, medical subjects might go a bit over my head. I'm in the engineering/science side of the field, but those are not exactly the subjects I want to talk about either when I'm on a date.
Smart people can act dumb but dumb people can't act smart... Ill be ugly and smart ill turn that brain power into $$$ and ill either get a girl who is legit interested in me for me or ill be able to get a gold digger. If u go the other route the gold diggers will have a great time with you they will manipulate you and can take all your money and your gone... Its all about making a legacy and good looks eventually fade away.

Depends how rich, how smart , how ugly and how difficult it is to change?
Rich enough to be set for life job or not?
smart enough to enjoy working as a software engineer.
ugly in a way that was hard to change like being 400lb or deformed.
unless it was fixable ugly and unbelievably bright.
Id go for rich and hot but not to bright if it was enough to be set for life much less pressure.
Honestly being smart isn't necessarily a good thing it depends on personality more than just being smart or stupid and I stand by the basis that there has to be at least some physical attraction in order for a relationship to work

If those are my choices (the ones in your pics) I'll go with smart and ugly. I've seen, and I imagined much uglier. Intelligence is more useful to me than a girl who is a attractive, but not necessarily irresistible to me.
