Which religions is right, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, etc?

I know there are many people here from many faiths, I've seen people who are Muslims and Christians here.

I could accept that there might be a possible divine creator out there. But still I don't see any good reason why there's a certain religion that is right vs the other wrong ones.

So my question goes out to religious people, and please no cop outs, this is for those who take their faith seriously and aren't afraid to stand up for their personal truth and convictions.

Explain to me why your religion is the right one and why the other ones are not the right ones. Why is your path the right one, why is your religion the right path?

Why should someone (If they were going to be part of a religion) choose what you believe and why should they reject the others?

I am pagan, I believe in many gods. I also believe in self empowerment and taking the responsibility for your own actions. Ultimately I believe in pragmatism, if it works then all is good. I have no problem with anyone of any faith following their own beliefs, and I believe in many paths to the Devine. To me many other religions put the value on the wrong thing, they give up will (internal devine will) for soul. The human soul is always free, your will on the other hand, that which shapes not only yourself but everything around you, how precious is that? When you die, I believe in reincarnation not an ultimate reward. So again the soul is less important than many think.

I don't think any religion is right. Much rather are they different paths towards the same aim.

I also don't think that everything is meant to be taken literal - except the basic rules like "don't kill", "love your next" and such. Much rather a lot of the writing seem to be of metaphorical and/or anecdotal nature.

To use christianity as an example. Not killing anyone is one of the commandments. Pretty clear about that. Additionally that is one that goes through all the religions saying that not killing anyone is a pretty good thing to do.

Though then you have in christianity things like this: "And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."

God surely doesn't let wealthy people into heaven just for them having worked hard and become healthy. The problem here is that how many rich people achieved their wealth as well as not giving anything to help others. So it's a mix of selfish and greedy actions that would be of concern - not the wealth in itself.

When Jesus in matthew that Those who love their family or children more then him aren't worthy of him and god, or that if they don't follow jesus they aren't worthy.

I'm not really religious. I'm spiritual but have studied all religions. There is no "right" religion because they all teach the same basic stuff: be good to each other, don't hurt people, don't steal, etc. There is something to be learned from each of them though

They don't all teach the same stuff. The christian bible is very clear about Jesus being the way, the truth and the only way to God is through him and those that don't follow him are not worthy of him and god. It's written in the bible, especially in matthew.

Well take one topic. The concept of nirvana which was expanded on by buddhists. love as a concept is something that doesn't truly exist in hinduism and buddhism as taught theologically. Nirvana was the state of being that was created as an answer to suffering. you achieve the goal only by removing yourself from others and things, you cannot form a attachment to annything to be hurt. i. e someone kills or steals something connected to you and it won't affect you. in islam, the view of god and lovoe is that it doesn't exist, the highest form of love is a slave to omaster kind of relationship whereby allah sees you as someone where morality stems through tipping the scale towards hell or heaven. Kinda like a selective lottery with nothing treally invested in your fate in general. a muslim gets to heaven by either committing the jihad or he can do

Christianity, Islam and Judaism are the same religion. None of them are peaceful, and to be completely honest, it's quite a terrible religion.

Buddhism is a much better religion than all those listed.

They are all Abrahamic religions but in Christianity pretty much if you don't accept jesus as your master and follow him you're screwed, even in Matthew Jesus talks about how if you don't follow him you're not worthy of him and god. And that he is the only way to God, he is the path to God.

Obviously many Christians believe that without belief in Jesus you will go to hell. Many Jews think Jesus is a blasphemer. Muslims reject Jesus as son of God.

Jesus being the son of god and being the path makes a difference since by that alone, Islam and Jusaism are not worhty of salvation.

Every religion could be right, there may be multiple high powers, and no religion may be right, there is no higher power or the higher power has not been discovered yet. I believe no current religion is correct because I refuse to believe in a higher power who hates something that they supposedly created.
