Does anyone else stalk their crushes on social media?

Am i the only person who does this? When i have a crush, i like finding out a lot about them so i browse them on instagram and facebook. I even managed to find my crush's parents on instagram. I found out about his two siblings, their names and age, all through social media.

Is this weird and bad? Should i stop?
Do you do it too? I it a normal thing?
What about him, if a guy has a crush on me would they do the same?

yes I done it twice.. and after my second crush on a different guy I realized things were better the less I knew about him! watching sumbody on social media daily might give you expectations on how you think they are in real life.. and slowly you will lose interest! its better to not know everything keep it casual. the excitement & enthusiasm are the best feelings too have when getting to know a person, jus take it slow... they'll reveal themselves

Whether or not they want to admit it I think most people have "stalked" on social media at one point or another. The key is not slip up by mentioning his siblings names or other facts you find before he tells you. That would be embarrassing!

I don't even use social media as much, so no. I feel like it's bad for you, wouldn't it be much better to just talk to the person? But I do think a lot of people do it, so it's not weird. Some guys probably do it too.

@helphelpimdying well it's illegal because stalkers make it dangerous to do just that someone can post a photo with their family someone finds their family their family post something about their job or school someone looks into that follows that person and it leads them to the person their stalking and the whole time all that person did was post a photo which is why it's illegal pretty much it's terrifying behavior

2. You can even get arrested for doing it to a celebrity at a certain point
3. You're not to jail point yet it's not like you figured out where he lived or his schedules or who he's dating and the same for them but once it gets there if he ever felt like it's too much he's able to get a restraining order but that's in certain cases which is why you shouldn't say stalk even though it's kinda stalking but we live in a modern world that's numb to this

I do often and I feel bad about doing it. Looking at thier pictures looking at photos of us we took. Liking her stuff and her commenting on mine. When I scroll through her stuff it feels kind of wrong. Yet at the same time she posted it to be looked at and viewed. I have the same thing that any freind/girl could be looking at. It feels weird and wrong but it is really not. It is not like I stole her personal and private diary to look through.

it's natural when u have crush u r curious to know all about ur crush it's quite normal. BUT it's wrong habbit to checking somebody personal info without his permit is wrong. u could directly ask him for date or express ur felling then u will not need to follow or stalk to him
