There are two different categories I like to consolidate feminism ideals and particular feminists in general.
1) The well known and heavily media raved category where you see women with no tolerance for the existence of men as an entirely separate species as so they would have it. "These are the feminists that absolutely bring shame to the true ideals and values that actual feminists cling to and stand for. I hate them with the fiery passion of 1000 Suns. "
2) The not so media raved feminists that's typically are seem if the average documentary of real feminism and try to promote the education of ignorant individuals on topics like womens sufferage, domestic abuse, and even womens statistical standings in the national workforce as it stands today. " These are the feminists I wish we as a species would actually promote rather than hide away so that we can post blasphemy on the biggest screen around and literally damage a large majority of adolescent developing minds with inaccurate representations of conjecture and fallacy."
There is only 1type of feminist. Women who feel inferior who want special treatments. If you have more rights and you're a feminist you're a hypocrite.
@TruthComeToLight I understand your ignorance of this topic as I said before it has been misconstrued by publicly and media reports. The feminism of which you speak is not really feminism, it is simply the inaccurate title given to the women who feel the need to cry, "Poor me, Poor me I need more favoritism than other people and men in particular because other women generations before me had it super super hard and even though I don't have it hard now and I've already grown up with the stuff they fought for what I'm really often is a femdom society where women are the dominant role in social aspects and views hence forth!"
Please do not mistake my reply for being an attempt to upshow or berate you in any way as I have respect for people and do not with to bring across that intention. Just understand I have studied the topic extensively from a neutral point of view and wish only to convey accurate representation of what real feminism stands for, not the medias taint.
Your attempt to manipulate me into seeing feminism in your way is insulting. There isn't any justification for being part of a group where most people are playing the victim. There isn't any justification for being in such group when you have more rights than men. Can I ask you a question? Why are you a feminist and what rights are you fighting for?
@TruthComeToLight I'm not a feminist love, I just happened to do a study on this topic in Social Psychology. And To be honest I'm not sure you are understanding exactly what I'm trying to convey.
Nutshell version: Feminism as you are viewing and describing now: "Complete and utter bullpuckis. I share your distaine for those of which you speak as they do not deserve what it is they already even have."
Feminism as I'm viewing it: The historical accumulation of equality by women dating from the years back as far as the 1800s to the present day, who are [{(NOT)}] actually fueled by the destruction of man and its so called hierarchy, and are [{(NOT)}] bound by the same principles in play in our day and age given as to woman from past historical notations have literally, and documentation of this subject exists, been oppressed into lesser roles and into having less rights as men dictated in the past because of how society had evolved up unto those points in history.
It's funny that when I debate a woman she always defend feminism then when completely shed light on the movement, she says she's not a feminist. Now feminism has served its purpose in the past and there isn't much use anymore for it. I think the reality is that women have this inferiority complex and think that feminism is the answer but it isn't. There are certain gender roles that will never change.
@TruthComeToLight Granted, yes I agree with this, as a society of todays standards we have absolutely no need for feminism in that context you are exactly right, as feminism if only applicable when women are effectively being oppressed. Which they are not, I agree with that too, many women in today's society claim and cling to notions that they know absolutely nothing about or they just fill their ignorance of the subject with they sudo-political crap. To those types of women, its kind of like they are trying to aggressively tell Neil deGrasse Tyson that the earth is flat or that oxygen is just a myth... its just plain stupid indeed just as you said.
Good girl!
I'm going to assume you mean sexist. Feminism isn't sexy.
The problem with a label like feminism is it's now so vague as to specifically what it means it's utterly vapid.
I don't deny that there are definitely 'good feminists' who are genuinely left leaning and are interested in gender equality.
Unfortunately there are just as many people who have adopted feminism as a smoke screen for their misandry and self-interest.
So, to answer the question - I just don't know. The question is unanswerable without committing a No True Scotsman falacy.
Are there, though? in my opinion the number of "good feminists" outnumber the bad ones by a wide margin.
@HungLikeAHorsefly Assholes are often the most vocal. And people who are saying things you don't oppose are less likely to catch your attention, no?
Oh, I don't doubt that. I'm just going on my experience of having known a lot of Feminists and living in places that are well known as Feminist enclaves (in the U. S.) - I haven't met a lot of the "bad" Feminists yet.
Did you mean sexiest or sexist. Either way feminism isn't sexist, it's like anti sexist, and sexism is usually sort of truth.
Feminism isn't sexy at all either, just a crowd of weirdos that hate regular men for no reason. Unless of course it's a dude in drag claiming he's a legit real woman. Then that's totally not offensive. If anything that's, truth. Because you know, feminist logic.
Feminism sucks dick. Ew. They despise femininity and don't even shave their armpits. It's nothing but ironic that they call themselves "feminists."
Absolutely, yes.
Thank youuuu
Sexy? I thought it's about sth like dat:

i don't think feminism modern day, feminazi, old school, etc is sexy. it's not un-sexy.
it's not really sexual at all
or did you mean femininity
It was always a sexist movement. Modern or not. It has always been about women's rights specifically and at it's core a hatred for men. They firebombed buildings back in the day. Now that sexism was helpful, when they didn't have equal rights and were fighting to get them it's easy to argue they used a sexist movement for good. But now that they have equal rights they are using that same sexist movement to do harm, under the guise of equality when it has absolutely nothing to do with equality. There are no legal entitlements that men have today that women do not.
Much of it is sexist, yes. Many modern-day feminists believe that inequality is only exclusive to women. Feminism likes to tell us that it is about gender equality, but when said feminists can't even list at least one male related issue in society, she isn't focused on equality, she's simply focused on herself. Official websites that represent feminism don't even talk about men and their issues, only women.
I imagine 9/10 women would still choose female privilege over male privilege if they ever had to walk in a man's shoes for more than a year.
If you mean "sexist", generally I believe so because many of them cite the gender earnings gap and treat it like a problem without pinpointing any precise reasons for why it exists.
If we can't pinpoint the precise causes, then the only way to typically start fixing this "problem" is to start working towards unequal treatment of either males or females to try to achieve equal results, like affirmative action and other forms of positive discrimination. Positive discrimination favoring females over males is inherently sexist.
For example, we might find that tall people are represented far more often than short people in basketball. If we try to even out the results by implementing short basketball player quotas that require an even number of short people on a basketball team, I would consider that very "heightist".
As another example, some feminists point out that there are far more male senators than female senators in Congress. This is pointed out not as some curious observation, but as though there is a fundamental problem to be solved. To solve that in a free society where women can already vote would require trying really hard to persuade people to vote for more female politicians even if the female politicians weren't their first choice. That would be distorting the playing field in an uneven way that I consider to be sexist, trying to encourage people to vote for politicians just based on their sex and not their policies.
Also if we find that people who like red as their favorite color earn more on average than people who have blue as their favorite color, any attempt to even out the results would probably imply the actions of a blueist, since they'd have to positively discriminate in favor of people who like blue instead of considering whether they are actually better qualified than people who like red.
yes. feminism is supposed to be about equality not superiority. unfortunately modern feminism is not about equality anymore.
Modern day feminists are just sad. They don't want to improve themselves enough to get a man or be happy with themselves, so they try to blame men for their issues.

if someone is a true feminist then it shouldn't be sexist since it's about true equality for genders. if a woman thinks they are better than men it's called misandry not feminism
Shut up. You just make women inferior.
If women have more rights than men and you're still a feminist, you must feel inferior.
I should preface that my standpoint is that actions are more indicative of what you believe, rather than what you say. So if feminists say feminism is about equality, but their actions are not in line with that then feminism is not in fact about equality. When the heads of the movement are not fighting for equality and the bulk of feminists are not fighting for equality then feminism isn't about equality. But it does sound nice and it would be beautiful if it were true.
women are biologically inferior to men though, its so incredibly easy to prove and has been many times in many ways already. Which is why women still complain even though they already have more rights than men.
@justkidding93 exactly! Right on
Sexist? Noooo.
Just because they named their good, just and righteous idology 'Female', and labeled the imaginary root cause of having to deal with difficulties in life male (patriarchy).
How is that in any way sexist?
YES, and it is why I will never consider myself or classify myself as a feminist. They are all sexist hypocrites
it depends on what stuff your talking about- i think that equal rights, pay wages and stuff is good, but not when woman say that they are better than men, or try to have better rights than men
as a whole no but there are certain people who take it to the nth degree far too often giving a bad name for others
I think so, like feminist are always "men are pigs" "they're all the same" this is a generalization and I think it can be considered sexist (though I don't really know the definition of sexism).
I'm a feminist but I do believe some other feminist are sexist, some take it way too far. I'm not sexist at all.
Yeah, it can be pretty sexist.. It's basically bordering on hating guys, and painting women to be better..
Yes. Women fighting for their rights is oh so sexy.
all the crazy stuff yes.. some people take it way way to far.
Yes, I have and always will. When cutting off men's dicks, shaming, and other hate is spewed from their movement it is impossible to view them as anything other than a hate movement.
Yes and that is exactly why I am against feminism. I can want equality without being a feminist.
All the males who said yes are most definitely virgins. No man with self respect would ever support modern feminism.
A man supporting modern feminism is like a black person supporting white supremacists.
