Guy I'm seeing is seeing someone else at the same time, what do I do?

I'm okay that he's seeing someone else, after all we are only seeing each other so it's not that that bothers me. He just said a lot of things that made me think he wanted to be with me and then he tells me he's seeing someone else after he said all that and I'm like, surely he must have said it to her too. I'm sure that he didn't mean for it to happen this way, he's been pretty honest about it.

I'm going to talk to him about it this week but I don't know what I should say or how to handle the situation. I'm not even sure he's told the other girl either. I know some people probably think he's been an idiot and that I shouldn't still want to see him, but I do I just don't know how to tell him that. Even if we just end up as friends I want a good outcome, so can you guys help me with the situation?

I'd especially like the guys opinions on this because I'd like to hear any personal experiences and stuff, and I think it would be less biased coming from a guy, but obviously girls answers are great too. I'm just really confused and I don't know what to do.

Well this really comes down to your comfort level. If you two are just casually seeing each other, and it's nothing serious, than it's okay for him to see other girls too. But just be aware of this before you get too attached to him. I have been in a situation like this before, I was casually seeing someone, and he kept telling me he wanted to know if I would be a good match for him and to let us just see how things went. Well, turns out he had been seeing other people, no big deal, we were agreeing to see others. But he had been 'casually' seeing other girls for years. I am all for getting to know people, but if it takes several years before you know, then I think that is too long and he was just trying to pull my leg. Needless to say, I did not continue to see him anymore, and I am happy I have not seen him in a few years :)

Now it is up to you what you want to do. I would make boundaries clear, make sure you know where this is headed, and if it isn't headed anywhere. Talk to him about it, because I sense from what you are saying that you want to take things to another level? Just be aware that he may not want a relationship if he has a few women around him.

If you are not exclusive then there is no reason why you should be mad. I date probably 2-3 women at a time sometimes. It is about finding the best match, and just putting all your chips in one pot is really not a good idea. Look at the bachelor for example. The more the options the better your odds of find the best one for you. So seems like a great guy, he is open about it I would just continue on the path and see where it leads.

That's what I was thinking and that's why it doesn't bother me. I'm just not sure what to do.
