no reason to treat girls differently as to your normal friends. if they were short on a buck or two, sure ill pay the remaining. just cause she has t*ts and ass doesn't mean she gets a free meal in my book. on the other hand, I don't want them to think they owe me something or they have do something for me in return because I paid for there meal. I treat girl and guy friends the same.
it would be different if she was someone I was dating or had a relationship with. I wouldn't mind paying. I don't think its a big deal who pays or doesn't when in a relationship.
I've got friends who study, and I make a lot more money than they do(only recently discovered exactly how little students live by), so once in a while I buy them a movie ticket or a drink or two. No need to sacrifice a meal just to hang out with me, you know.
I'm probably more prone to do it for girl friends than guy friends, but on the whole it's an economical bias, not a gender one.
my guy friends do. they see it as their duty almost. so when we go to the movies or something I try to buy tickets ahead of time for both of us so I can treat him. and we are just friends. nothing more

Not usually unless I am interested in the girl. I would say it is more common if we are just friends that the girl pays for me oddly, invites me to a beer or something but that is usually only if she is rich.
I will buy the occasional round if it is their birthday or some other worthwhile occasion, some times I just get a round for the hell of it. I do the same for my guy friends.
i tend to. I don't even really think about it, just kinda naturally happens. Moneys not really a problem for me either though so that's probably part of it.
We split it up time to time. One time I will pay the next time she will to even it out.
I never have unless it's their birthday or Christmas.

I offer but let them pay if they want to.
