Do guys like it when girls ask them to be their boyfriend?

So there's a couple of guys I've been interested in for awhile and I've seen them date all the wrong girls and get their heart broken plenty of times. However neither one has asked me out. I made a move toward one and he finally admitted that he would have dated me if I had told him that I liked him, but I thought guys can tell? I thought guys like to ask themselves when they're ready...Uugh I'm so confused as to if I should say anything to other guy too and if he'd say the same thing.

its hard, sometimes all the signs can be there and we still have no idea...why? well its because of their past...ive been in tons of situations where all the signs point to the girl wanting me and liking me...cept when ti comes down to it they just want to be friends...

tell them you like him, but not fast...take ti slow - someone getting attached or liking someone so quickly is usually a red flag...

i usually like to be the one asking the girl out...but ill only ask her out if I feel like she's ready for it...usually if the two of you are doing boyfriend/girlfriend stuff...holding hands out in public or cuddling and staying in on weekends...ill usually let that go on for a couple weeks, maybe a month, then pop the question...

First of all the majority of guys can't tell if a girl likes them unless they actually tell them. giving hints will work on guys with more experience. You should take to heart what the guy said and next time you like a guy to just be honest and to go for it

There should be hardly any boy who experienced something like this. I wouldn't like it, but they should be able to tell you're interested if you give hints?
