Help me repair my bad reputation in college?

i was good person , but when I messed up everything with a girl in my college ,people see me as a jerk ,they don't treat me as the way I was treated before .also they spread false rumors about me (particularly that girl and her friends) that I attempted suicide more than once and I think most of the people in my class know this.i have never done such things like this.i just told that girl to never talk to me again.they always makes fun of me. my friends has left me and I'm really feeling alone.people don't like to be my friends now a days. how can I fix this bad rep in my class ? please help me guys..

Well you fix it by showing that you are a good person. Offering to help people in the class that might need help for one. If you are a genuinely nice guy people will see that and no matter what these girls say they wouldn't believe. So the fact that they believe the girls has me wondering. Well just keep being a nice guy find new friends. College is a big place talk to people outside of your former circle. You can do this by striking up a conversation in the registration line with a guy or girl. Its not hard to make friends if you are comfortable talking to people. Also joining a club is a good way to interact with people so try that.

BTW if you get the same result wherein people don't want to be around you, then you have to evaluate yourself and the things you are doing to push people away.

will this is the college life, everyone will talk an spread fake rumors about you. don't let people upsets you. be who you are and stay true people will know the real you =) let the haters hate and you stay cool. I've had a lot of people who said bad things about me I used to cry but then I said OK let'me hate. when people hate you for no reason be sure because you are better than they are =)
