I'm thinking of guetting one. Roots backpacks always fall apart after one year. My swiss gear backpack held up for 2-3 years but now the shoulder straps are falling apart - plus I find it pretty bulky for my taste. I think Jansport backpacks are a better size but I'm wondering:
- Are they durable? (lots of heavy science bibles to carry around)
- Are they comfortable? (shoulder straps and back cushioning - I hate when the fabric is so thin that all the books dig into my back)
- Do they hold up a lot of stuff? It looks a little small to me.
- What about laptop carrying?
