Describe your bedroom! :D

Question

So I thought it would be fun to describe our bedrooms :D

Mine has white walls, beige carpet, my bed is in beige, with a striped blanket (red, yellow, pink stripes), and same for the pillow, (it was like a matching pillow and blanket), my drawer is white, and my desk is also white, but the drawer is beige, then you have my chair, in white, and there's a hot pink pillow on my chair. :P that's it I think!

Oh and do you guys and girls mind what your girlfriend or boyfriend rooms look like? Because I always thought guys expected girls their rooms to be pink,and glittery and all that stuff lol. Because one time this guy said "wow your room is very different than most girls, but its really nice". :)

Grey walls. Bed on the floor - just so I can lift it up and make room to paint because my room at my parents house is tiny. No wardrobe, I have a couple of rails the length of the walls to hang my clothes on, shoes lines up below. It's so pretty :)

Just some bog standard wooden drawers. Make up and stuff on top.

The have an old TV on a low down stand I made from an old shelf and covered in clippings from old vogues. Stacks of Dvds and books everywhere. Then I just have a load of drapes on the walls or beads and things hanging from the ceiling. Oh and I have my handbags hooked onto a wall too. It's a pretty bohemian looking room. I love it.

I suppose because my room at my flat I can't decorate or mark the walls really so it's kind of plain and white and boring. So the best I can do is nice bed sheets and the odd hanging scarf. It's so boring. But ya know - it's just for term times, and I come home most weekends anyway.

As for people's reception - the guy I'm currently seeing just laughed at my room. But it's OK because I laughed at his room too. His room is all just bed and massive Tv with old arnold schwarzenegger posters and pictures of hot girls. But yeah, some guys like it and some guys a like ... oh ... OK :/

Hmm... My bedroom has a California queen bed with a 2 inch memory foam top. 4 pills and egyptian cotton sheets sheets that are a cream color. There is a window above my headboard with white blinds. The walls are eggshell, the door is white with a brass handle. The floor is tile. I have cherry hard wood furniture made by some union of carpenters, not really sure, but it is nice and shinny high quality varnished stuff. Not stuff you find at your normal furniture store. One of the pieces is a dresser with a wood framed silver mirror, one is a chest of drawers, one is a wooden desk. My desk has a 28 inch computer monitor on it and a color print. Above the desk is a bulletin board. Next to the desk is a TV stand with a 42 inch plasma tv, a stereo system and my htpc computer. There is a silk tree in the corner, closet off to the side with shelves of books in it and clothing hanging underneath. There are various wicker/rattan woven type things around, some wooden boxes with interesting designs, some hand carved coconut bowls for holding stuff from my pockets, etc. I guess that's an OK description. =P

Mine has pale blue walls and a beige carpet, and my bedding is a mixture of the two. I have two beds (one to sleep in, and one that I just use like a sofa) and a variety of other beech wood furniture (desk, cd rack, wardrobes, etc).

In one corner there's my stereo and computer. In the opposite corner there's various sports equipment - all just dumped in a huge pile (skis, badminton & tennis racquets etc, frisbees, snorkeling gear, kayaking/coasteering gear, etc).

There are big windows at each end of the room, with nice views of the sea and lighthouse. There's a small fireplace, but the mantelpiece is currently bare, apart from a pringles tube full of coins, an aesthetically pleasing rock, and a Bambi figurine.

My lamp oddly resembles a Star of David... it's made of two triangles. No - I'm not a jew before you ask me!

My shelves look kind of empty as recently I made a general cleaning and threw away all the unnecessary crap! Everyone should do it.

On the top of the shelf there are lying Caliban, W.A.S.P. and Soilwork stickers and my headphones, and a little red devil stuffed toy - my sister took it out from that machine where you throw in a coin and control that robotic hand, but she didn't want to keep it!

my room is just awesome .. its large .. I have my own bathroom I have a big bed .. a nightstand .. a study desk .. nice closet -although some members of my family share the closet- .. the walls are mustard and light yellow .. I got some posters but removed all of them .. a window with a nice view .. that's it

Bart Simpson everywhere(bed, curtains, banner, wall painting) though I never even watch the show anymore, Red carpet, I have a bookcase filled with mostly comics but some novels

Well... my bed is a king and it is in the center of the room. in each corner is a flood light, there is a mirror on my ceiling and a camera with a tripod at the base of it.
