Is it cute if a girl can't dance or is it a turn off?

I'm a terrible dancer. I just don't pick up on that stuff. I'm really slow at learning it and I get confused and overwhelmed. I can dance a little at concerts and that sort of thing- I just mean in a situation where someone is trying to teach me how to dance. Is it a turn off if a girl can't dance? I really try, I'm just terrible. I think its embarrassing.

I think that depends on the guy. It's a little unfortunate, but for a guy like me, who can't dance either, it might be a relief. My girlfriend often wants me to dance. I don't really know how, so to counteract the feeling of making a fool of myself, I generally drink like crazy and get fitshaced before I get out on the floor. So yeah, with guys like me, it's a godsend. Some guys might find it cute. Some might not. Some might be patient with you and try to encourage you to try anyway. All in all it really just depends on the guy.

What is a turnoff to me is those girls who can't dance but take themselves so very serious and are self conscious and think they are so sexy.

Just move, have fun and don't care.

I cannot dance for the life of me, but if the music is right and I've had a few drinks, I get on the dance floor and have a go.

I've noticed that if you're enjoying yourself (smiling, laughing at yourself, etc), you won't have a hard time finding a partner and in my experience they're been more than happy to teach me a few moves.



Don't worry about what others think, just enjoy yourself :)

To be honest, I kind of feel intimidated by girls that have excellent dancing skills. I don't mind if a girl can't dance, it's not a turn off at all. Perhaps it would be cute to see her try, but I think I'd just pull her to me and hug her tight so she doesn't have to try anymore - indeed so she doesn't have to feel embarrassed. After all, I'd prefer her close to be close to me, we don't have to be dancing.

There are lots of guys who don't dance, and wouldn't find it to be a problem.

I personally try to be a little above the average animal level, so I dislike parading.

I don't really dance unless I've had a fair amount to drink. At that point, I couldn't care less if a girl has good moves or not.

It's not "cute" but it's not really a bad thing either. The guy does all the leading in dance anyway.
