I see both that and the flip side all the time. Some guys walk around acting like they don't care when they really do, then others act like they care, but really don't. I can relate, because this sounds like a behavior one of my ex's did. Her mind games were something like: suspecting me of cheating, asking about other women and suddenly get mad when I say something about another woman, and last but not least- suicide thoughts.

Insecure guys tend to play mind games more. They are insecure and are forced to only be able to play mind games because "most" are afraid. It's all about mind games for insecure guys.
For one, I don't think it is a matter of insecurity, it is a matter of whether there is trust in the relationship.
Second, everyone plays mind games. Who are you kidding.
May be he wants you to think about him all time, people think about each other when there is a gap between both. so he might be doin this to gain your attraction wait he'll reply or better ask him.
