Actually...im into college guys too.
Its like this:
Guys in highschool (for the most part) of incredibly immature.
And that's really the bottum line. GIrls (pretty much) mature at a quicker rate than boys in the romance area, and we figure more mature guys are more likely ti commit faster and smoother without the highschool bullcrap around it. I'm not saying that ALL hs guys are juvenile or anything. But tons are. Yea...some girls don't even look into the highschool dudes, and possibly could be missing out, but I guess that's just the way it is.
THough we shouldnt automatically assume that the hs guys suck...we probably will.
But here's what you can do:
Try to get in contact with her, and tell her how you feel. ( deffinetly shows a sign of maturity), if she response back positively, then go for it. If its negative, and she just rules you out simply because your not in college...screw it. She's ignorant for not listening lol.
I agree with the girls comment before me but I also think that when you are in college you develop a certain maturity about you that makes you think on a different level and I feel that most of the time when you are in highschool you are not on that level.
as a college student I would never date a high schooler.
the maturity level between college students and HSers are vastly different not to mention college students are more driven, smart, etc (in most cases).
but its pretty apparent that younger guys like older guys and older guys like younger girls.
are you saying the "one thing" college guys are looking for is sex?
that may be true. its obviously easily to get laid if you are 21 by a 17 year old then if you are 21 by a 21 year old.
personally, I think its bs.
i would date someone who is a year younger than me in age, but never date a HSer
