iPhone 7 is Old News, Say Hello to the iPhone 8 (Yes, You Read That Right!)

I know I know! Another Apple something. lol Sorry guys but yes, you definitely read that right! iPhone 8 is happening as we speak. All this talk about the iPhone 7 and there is an iPhone 8 coming out in 2018!

Read on if you’re interested in knowing what the IPhone 8 is capable of or if you’re just curious in the latest technology, follow on through..

The iPhone 8 was supposed to launch in 2017 but now it might be launched in fall of next year (depending on how well the S series goes, it may even be launched earlier). S series, did you read? Yes, Apple is going to be making S series to the IPhone 7.

-iPhone SE 3 Handset (on the way)

In terms of size and surface, it’s similar to the size of the iPhone 6S (67.12mm x 138.3mm). Saying bye-bye to Space Grey, the color palette choices will be Deep Blue, Silver, Rose Gold and Gold. The home button will be replaced with a “virtual home button” instead. That feature is currently being patented so for that to happen, though it sounds promising at this stage.

There have been numerous leaks that state the iPhone 8 COULD feature a curved glass look or it may just be all screen:

Wireless charging is still going to be a part of the Apple tradition, so they’re sticking with this. There’s the likelihood of the iPhone 7 and its series PLUS the 8 will offer wireless charging.

Security with the IPhone 8 will be upgraded and changed. So instead of using your fingerprint to unlock your phone, Iris Recognition will be used to unlock your phone. Yes, using your eyes to unlock your phone!? It personally reminds me of James Bond and Inspector Gadget but either way, it’s a pretty cool feature!

Apple is teaming up with Xintec (a company in Taiwan) to make this feature happen, so keep an eye out.. BA DOUM TSS *chuckles* HAHA I had to, okay? (*^_^*)

Lastly, the iPhone 8 camera quality is hoping to achieve DSLR photos. “Rumors” say that it may feature a Dual camera to add depth to pictures and follow the trend towards augmented reality.

iPhone 7 has been doing okay with its better camera and faster operating system. It does have the problem of having a faint "hsss" sound when it’s been overworked, though.

I find phone advertising very strange and uninformative. Currently I'm looking for a gaming computer. On amazon, all the specs are listed in the title. The processor, the memory card, the ram- all the hardware is listed plain as day for anybody to see. Phones on the other hand are advertised with nebulous terms like (retina display.) If you do some digging like I did you'll discover that the retina display on the current IPhone (the IPhone 7+ aka the high end model) has the same resolution as my four year old LG. Being able to unlock it with my eyes doesn't sell me- as a matter of fact, it worries me. The sort of tracking that has to be in that phone to be able to do something like that. If they phone can unlock based on your eye and it can scan your eye and log your specific eye pattern, that information can be readily available for the NSA. And that scares me.

The rest of these are rumors. In every article I read talking about IPhone 7 leaks and pictures they always include a picture that looks out of this world amazing. The phone never ends up looking like that. After this hissing problem and the removal of the headphone jack as well as the insanely high price tag, I'm not exactly optimistic.

With all the issues phones have with catching on fire I'm not sure about wireless charging (I don't know how it works, but if the signal isn't controlled I believe the battery could get overheated).

That is hilarious! I will never understand why someone would want an iPhone (no offence to anyone who loves iPhones!). I know that they look a lot better and more modern but Samsung's have never let me down, especially when I'm drunk and keep dropping my phone on the ground.. no cracks or marks! I feel like iPhone are just a vacuum for money.. Plus they are so much more complicated. Use to own a iPhone and couldn't understand how to use certain features, Samsung was easier. All you have to do is plug it in (no software needed like iTunes) fix up whatever you want through the computer and plug it back out. Think maybe I'm a little bit of a computer nerd so I know how to work my way around devices manually whereas I get confused if a program does it for me.. Just saying :)

Not to be the one who bursts a bubble, but these type of posts happen EVERY single time after an iPhone is released. Saying wireless charing will be here, no more home button, etc. We can't truly tell what apple will do, or legit leaks until spring/summer. I mean, if I went off of "Who cares about the iPhone 6s, here's the iPhone 7" article, the iPhone 7 would have had wireless charging, a holographic display, glass unibody, etc. Until at LEAST 2017, no rumors are even out yet.

I'm a marketeer myself, though I don't do it as my job for the moment. I know what a good brand name is worth but I also know it doesn't necessarrily mean that a less famous apparatus is inferior.
They probably come with new models to often to keep the hype going 8)

I'd probably wait until iPhone 10 comes around first at the earliest before I decide to even buy my my very first iPhone. And I'd also have to decide which specific "edition" or "model" of it that I will purchase, probably will wait until the iPhone 10S Plus finally comes out before ever buying my very first iPhone, if ever. Haven't owned any of the top brand smartphones, they keep getting replaced so fast I'd wait until once every 5 years at the earliest to upgrade and get a new one.

Personally what makes iphone amazing is its simplicity. The lack of a million features make it good because it allows them to put more effort into what little features they have

Makes them perfect it. What ever samsung does it seems iphone will do better. Even the water proofing. Apple had done a better job despite the fact samsung has a higher ips rating

the iphone died for me with the iphone 6. the ONLY reason to buy an iphone has been the nice design they always had. now this advantage is gone and now you´re just paying top notch spec prices for outdated hardware, that looks like crap and that forces you to use fucking adapters just so apple can have even more profit. there is no other reason to exlude a headphone jack than "wanting to make more profit"...

apple has long lost the war for "best display", "best camera" or "most slim phone". it´s just a low res brick (with an annoying camera bump) with a super expensive logo on it now.

Not appealing I jumped off the iPhone bandwagon back in 2014. I got a Note 4 and am sticking with Android. Tbh I've realized that all apple has been doing as of late is simply taking concepts that have already existed in the market years before it and adding it to the "new" version of the iPhone... since Steve Jobs died I haven't noticed any innovation from Apple.

okay, where should I start.
first, their sources. they have none for the one saying they might ditch the 7s and directly release the 8. it's just a statement out of nowhere. source? or at least why they would do that? nothing.
then for the size and screen, it's apparently a french site but they don't link the direct source, and that french site apparently has it from onLeaks, which is more or less reliable, just too bad that there is nothing on the onLeaks account about an iPhone 7s or 8.
If they posted anything, it's deleted because obviously bullshit this early.

2nd, they just released the iPhone 7. they definitely have already started with the successor, but tons of things will change in the next months and they don't even have all the hardware parts yet. so you can be 100% sure that they don't have the final dimensions of the device yet. Those will be a few months before release final.

no, it won't because you can't properly hold the device. it distorts the image and you either accidentally press something all the time or you have to deactivate the touch for that area so you have invisible walls where it stops working. The Galaxy S Edge series has already some of those problems and that one is less extreme than your linked pic. Apple has always put focus on intuitive useablilty, so it's extremely unlikely to happen.
