I like to do random, fun things with my friends. I love to bake and take pictures, those are my favorite things to do. I am just kind of a crazy, random person and I will say what I think.
About a year and a half ago my parents divorced. It kind of screwed me up for a long time...but in the end it only convinced me more that every horrible thing happens just to fit in with God's plan. I don't know who I would be if my parents were still together, when they split up it caused a series of events that only led me into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. I am just glad that I had good friends to carry me through my tough times.
Just a couple weeks ago I went on a mission trip to Alaska, which was a totally different experience for an Iowan farmgirl like me :) It was probably the best experience of my life. It made me realize how much of my life is lived in a bubble. People there were not judgmental at all and weren't afraid to be who they were. A lot of people I know around here are superficial and just try to blend in with the crowd so that they are accepted. I do my best to not become one of those people.
I am just stupid alot of the time. But i try to be nice and i love to smile and make people smile. I try to just be myself and if you don't like it you don't have to.
But I am very easy to get along with, which probably accounts for my many good friends :) I can find something likeable in just about anyone and I would love some new friends :)
