For this list, I have decided to start off with a warm up song and it just is a great song to start off this topic of sad songs :)

This really is a celebration of sad songs, it is not a sad song per say but it lets us know there is a place for sad songs and use for a list like this one :)
If someone else is suffering enough oh to write it down

1. Behind These Hazel Eyes- Kelly Clarkson (2004)
This is the newest entry on this list and this is such a high beat song for such a punch of lyrics. So powerful and painful.

2. The Tracks of My Tears - Smokey Robinson & The Miracles (1965)
And I will follow up the newest song with one of the oldest songs on this list. For another seemly upbeat song about hiding the tears that we clearly have falling inside during a break up
3. Yesterday- Beatles (1965)
This is a classic song from the Beatles but heartfelt if you listen to it without the screaming girls lol but you feel it, it is sweet but it is deep and you feel it in your heart.
I am going to cheat on these next two and use two songs from my top love songs :)
4. It Must Have Been Love- Roxette (1987)
This is about lost love and the aftermath it brings, the bitter and sweet :(
5. All Out Of Love- Air Supply (1980)
You know, the one that Deadpool listens to before he blows himself up. Well, it basically about admitting fault and saying you are helpless without the person
6. Missing You (I ain´'t missing you at all)- John Waite (1984)
This is about the one that left and trying to deny that it does not effect you but it kinda does... He says he is not missing you but his friends think differently :)
7. It's A Heartache- Bonnie Tyler (1978)
This is a deep soulful and iconic song about heartbreak. It tells us the vary definition of a heartbreak. She does not say it happened to her but you can tell from her words that she clearly speaks from experience.
8. Un-Break My Heart- Toni Braxton (1996)
This is a great sweet and slow song that talks about the sweetness of love and the yearning for regaining what was lost
9. Everytime You Go Away- Paul Young (1985)
This is more about how when disagreements can lead to into a constant shuffle of start on and off again relationships, every time you go away, means every time you leave after we argue, it is not exactly a break up but it is kind of like a series of mini break ups which I think some couples are familiar with
10. What Becomes of the Brokenhearted- Jimmy Ruffin (1966)
I wanted to end on a high note, this is an upbeat song that deals with what happens after a broken heart. The Struggle and result...
to end, everyone has that special someone, but that special someone is you, know that that anyone that breaks up with you does not take what makes you special, there are many people out there and that one girl or boy that breaks up with you is just that much more unfortunate to not have you in their life. Never give up and always continue to move forward.
