The validity of the no contact rule?

Would you recommend the 30 days no contact rule after a break-up?

And when not to use this rule?

Did you use it? How did it turn out for you?

  • I went complete no contact because I just couldn't handle talking to her anymore.

It took me a while to implement it, I didn't do it straight away, but it was, for me, the only way to truly move past the hurt and become a functional member.

I would personally use it after a break up always, unless you have a child together, or unfortunately, still live together.

  • Yes I think that it is really beneficial. I used it right away and it really helped me to move on. Just focus on yourself and doing activities that you enjoy and you should find yourself forgetting about your ex more and more each day

  • First try to fix things for a week or so. If that doesn't work then go no contact and let them know why.
