How do you know when she's into you?

Are the standards really true? You read them everywhere, but do they really work?

So say your on a date:

She is leaning towards you when you both are talking. What does that mean?

If she is sitting with her legs crossed towards you, is that really a sign?

When you look across the room and she is already looking at you, is this good?

If you look at her and she smiles a smile that lights up the room without looking away... Is that good?

What if she asks about your ex-girlfriend, is this good?

When she invites you to meet her friends, Is that good too?

What if she invites you to her church, this is her belief and she wants to share it with you. What do you think?

Say you go to a dance party and you catch her friends looking at you from across the room?

What Girls Said 1

  • Ok I can only answer for myself so here it goes:

Leaning in while talking- good sign, it's a sign of interest

    Crossing legs- means nothing

Looking at you from across the room- could mean attraction towards you

    Smiling at you- Good sign

Meeting friends- very good sign, or she could be confused and is looking for opinions

asking about ex gf- could try to get a feel for your history and what kind of guy you are

invites you to church- good sign

If you see her friends checking you out- could be dangerous if you give any kind of sign of interest

Now these answers are all with the assumption that you both have communicated that you are dating and not just friends, FYI

  • It's simple, but it's important: watch for her to smile and nod as she's talking to you. Be careful though, because some women are good at faking interest just to mess with a guy's head. If the smile is genuine, then that means she likes you and wants to know more about you.

If she leans toward you, it's a sure sign that she likes you and feels comfortable getting into your personal space. That said, it can depend on the situation. If you're in a loud club or bar, she might just be leaning in because it's hard to hear. You'll know for sure if she keeps leaning toward you even when it's quiet.

While touching can be a sign of attraction, you need to be careful with this one. Some girls are just naturally the sorts who like to touch people lightly. Watch how she acts around other people - if she only touches you, or if she can't seem to stop touching you, then she definitely is interested in you. Any kind of touch counts, whether it's just a light brush or a playful punch.

Once you know for sure that she into you, it's time to ask her out!

    Good Luck.
