For me, it's not what they do, it's the attitude behind their actions. Even if they cheated or did something truly terrible, I'd still be willing to forgive and work with them. But the point in which I would throw in the towel is when they refused to work with me anymore and were stuck on themselves. Marriage isn't about being focused on just yourself. It's about your spouse, it's about your children, it's about your family. So if my wife was stuck on herself (not that a little self focus is bad) but completely all about herself, and after working extremely hard to help her with no success, I could totally see myself divorcing her.
