Time is the best healer - enough time spent away from the other person will allow you to move forward in your life.
Time and distractions. I'm currently trying to forget about someone, however my mind always wanders back to her when I am not focused on something else. I hope that if I can avoid thinking about her I will eventually forget about her and move on completely.
Only time helps, it is unfortunate but there is no other cure.
I agree with mikkie 180 and NMMan but I also think that it helps to surround yourself with people that give you positive energy (like friends and family for instance)
^This is also true, having a great support system eases the transition after a break-up.
