What's easier when moving on?

Is it easier to move on from a long distance partner than from someone you dated locally? Or there's no difference?

  • Depends on how you felt and how strong it was, as well as how the relationship ended. A long distance relationship requires a lot more work than a local one, for obvious reasons, and can hurt more. But if it's one you didn't care for, then of course it won't hurt as much as if you had a local relationship you were heavily invested in. You can't say for sure without experiencing it.

  • Yeah of course. The distance is what actually breaks most people up in that situation.

  • There are way too many characteristics to find a defined difference between the two. Acceptance is usually found easier in long distance relationships as a guess as they wouldn't miss out on hugs, kisses and more etc.
