Me and my boyfriend broke up a week ago. It's been really hard for me because I spent a lot of time on him. We were long distance and had been together for nearly 2 years. We both had mental health issues, I have anxiety and he has several anxiety problems. He was in a bad relationship before he met me and it showed when we were together. It still affected him greatly and my anxiety didn't help either. I feel the reason we broke up is because of our separate issues and past experiences. But I have this gut feeling that we should be together. I know it won't happen next week or even a few months or a year from now but can couples really get back together after time apart?
