Does a break mean break up?

My long distance boyfriend of 18 months has asked us to go on a break for 3 weeks because he is unhappy and wants to get his life together.

He wants to ring me in 3 weeks so we can talk about what we want to do.

I really don't want to break up and I still love him. He said he loves me and it's just circumstances and he wishes we lived in the same city. I don't know if I should believe him or not.

Is he just trying to break up with me gently? Or can breaks actually work?

  • If you doesn have the choice, for the next 3 weeks, jus give him time. Also, dont do things that he always need you to do, to let him understand the importance of you. Then, may be after 3 weeks, he will need u back. Live ur normal life and happier than before!

  • It usually means that a break-up is coming. A "break" is not a good sign.
