I honestly hope that that's true we've turned into friends living as roommates and that's my fault there is hardly any affection and he claims to be ok with that but it's always in the back of my mind wondering if at some point he's going to want that new again who doesn't
If you are both fine with things as they are there will be no looking for the "new" feeling from outside. I know some men ( including myself) that like things as they are ( comfort zone) and don't want to change anything. But most men seek change. So talk to him to get a sense of what he wants n doesn't want.
