What are the best things to do to stop you from feeling numb inside?

I'm now in the stage of a break up where everything feels numb, I don't know what my emotions are because I usually never express them and keep them hidin deep down so I don't have to deal with them. I know that isn't the best way to be however its how I cope with things, plus I struggle to even cry. What should I do that could help?
