Do you think you're a better person after a relationship ends (from either side or mutually)? Do you notice your faults and improve on them?

I personally always try to become a better version of myself, and think over of somethings that were side prior to the end. Of course we need to take these words exchanged and not take the person we're no longer with for granted, but do they repeat in your mind over and over afterwards?
