I was in the Air Force and have a few family members in the military. If you want the best experience from the military then go Air force but if you're really wanting to travel I guess the Navy would be the best option. They're not too different from the Air Force.
Ywah go for it. It's not an easy life but it opens many doors. If you're smart it can change your entire life. You won't be the same person at the end. For some people that's the point
Have you done it?
And what’s your thoughts on boot camp and what do you mean not a easy life
I was in the Army for 10 years. Worked with navy medics. Boot camp is designed to break you, induct you into the family. It's tough but if your heart is in it, you make it through. It's not an easy life because it's a different world, a different set of rules, you're expected to adhere to a different way of living. Things aren't fair for you or your family. You'll be a different person in a lot of ways. And it'll stay with you for the rest of your life. The good and the bad. But I loved it. I have aspirations for other things so I left but i don't regret it one bit.
That do you mean things are not fair for me and my family
Also I assume if I go I am for sure going to get yelled at correct?
Oh 100% unless basic has changed significantly since I was in. You will be yelled at, punished for things you didn't do, held to intentionally impossible standards, but it is a test of spirit not body.
Does everybody get yelled at even if they are not messing around?
And if your also really obident?
Also why would you be punished for things you didn’t do
All the time. Part of the experience. You'll understand when you do it. May not make sense now but at the end, you'll get it.
Also is it true they try to find your weakness and make fun of you
No they're not bullies. They're tough on you but they're not malicious.
Why is this in break up and divore? lolI would say go for it live life to the fullest no regretsHey and if you don't like it you can always quit
Sure - if you're in good physical condition ad can take the mental stresses. I've a mate who did it. He's kinda fucked up now, but that's not a universal experience.
Yes navy is a great opportunity and a lot of benefits i did 6yrs GM 3rd class 97-03 full speed ahead go navy
You're not sacrificing you're life. Do you think everyone in the military is a grunt? You get somemany good opportunities from it. If you haven't actually served then you don't get to make comments like that.
Sorry, I tried to reply to the comment below you.
If you want to travel, travel, don't go sacrificing your life, just to travel, that's STUPID
Horrible reason to travel.
How is that a horrible reason? She's gets to serve her country and gets to travel as well.
Sorry I meant joining to travel is a horrible reason.
I still don't see how. One of the only reasons I joined was for the camaraderie, she will get to travel, she's getting what she wants out of it.
Air Force is better.
